is a bulb good if it comes on or does it lose potency even if it works.the reason I'm asking is I have a 1000 watter on 4 skunk #1 I hooked my 400 watter up today for side light and it looks brighter than my 1000 watter
Bulbs do lose there intensity over time. If you are going for the goodie goods. alwasy change out your 1000's. recyle your old 1000's for your side lighting. over time you will learns what the intensity lose is, and can regulate. from my experience a 1000 will last for no more than two crops before the degredation will be met for suplemental lighting.
