100% ... Absolute.

  1. If something is 100%, it is absolute. It is positive. When you make a 100% guarantee, there is no way out. Absolutely, positively no way out. You can not escape 100%. You can not run, you can not hide from 100%. To personify such a percentage is to consume the universe in chance. To consume the universe in guarantee. 100% is too much. It is just enough. It is not enough. When you make a 99.9% guarantee, you are correct. You are absolutely correct. Because if your situation does not work out to where your guarantee is proven false, you always have that .1% to rely on, to back you up, to be correct for you in your time of falsehood. 99.9% and .1% team up, they become 100% together, but are two pieces. One is correct, one is false. One may not side with you, one may, but as a whole, they are 100%. 100% is all-consuming, all-powerful, all-knowing and all-wrong. A 99.9% guarantee is always true. However, with 100%, there is only one chance for your guarantee to be correct before you are damned. To be damned after 100% is to be consumed by 100%. To be eaten whole, swallowed, chewed, spit out. You are 100%'s bitch. You belong to 100%, after you fail a 100% guarantee. On the flip side, if 100% decides to be on your side, you are 100%. You become a piece of 100%. You become one of the few who is allied with 100%. 99.9% is everybody's friend, no matter what. But 100% is selective. It is picky, it is pure. 100% is purity.

    Chew on that.

I am way too sober to be typing shit like this...

  2. 50 percent is twilight. 50 percent is like seeing a mack truck speeding toward you and randomly deciding that you should step in front of it. When you get to the other world, you can tell your companions "What did you expect? I had a 50 percent chance." 50 percent is the ultimate excuse. There is a 50 percent chance that I will bend over and get another pop-tart out of my drawer. Will I? Will I not? 50 percent is suspense. MUa!

  3. Good thoughts, thanks for the contribution. I agree. 50% is middle-road, 50% is suspense.

  4. 80%-20% used to be the status quo split. 20% were the elite - 80% the pawns, societies livestock. now it is more like 90%-10%. u have a 90% chance of being exploited. 10% is barely enough to not loose hope. everbody can delude themselves that they might hit on a one in ten chance - ignoring that it is mostly a hereditary.

if u had a one in ten chance of winning the lottery - i'd be buying tickets right now - so we keep buying tickets, so to speak.

  5. "-100%"

    stop chewing.
