So I have been experimenting with a 10 on 14 off light schedule for my flower period and have noticed a big difference in how my more dominant sativa strains react. It seems that it actually been benefiting the more dominant sativa strains. I have also notice that I have had more compact nodes on my more indica dominant plants. Has anybody else tried this type of light schedule? If so how was it for you?
Hi dj, Ive been growing that way for sometime now. The only difference is I put the girls into 36 hrs darkness, then I go 12/12 far a week. After that I go 10 on 14 off. I have found that it accually cuts a couple weeks off the suggested grow time and dosnt hurt that plant or quality.
awsome thanks, I tried with my last cycle but ended up with some stuff going hermi, so went back to a 12/12 and haven't had a problem. Just think that the strain i was using were a little finicky. Thanks for the insight though.
