I flushed my plant today so i've got another 7-10 days left before I can harvest, I was considering turning the lights onto 14/10 or lower to trick it into thinking the winter is coming very soon? I know some people do 48/hr dark before they harvest and it supposidly increases trichome production.
This is my personal opinion. 48 house of darkness is good for using up the Chlorophyll in the plant. 10/14 in my opinion would be counter productive. the plant still needs as much light as it can get, you would lose 2 hours a day of growth. If I were wanting an experiment to play with I would go the other way try 13 hours of light 11 hours of dark.
