    **If you don't want all the flavor of a good story, here's the short one, but I invite you to continue reading the whole post! In short, I took a tiny puff of a vap thinking it was an ecig. I was clean for 7 months before this happens. I test a week after this event. I'm 5'10, 175 lbs, 32" waste, active, and I have a relatively fast metabolism.

    So here's the deal. I use to smoke a lot, but I got a job offer for a large company.. I decided I wasn't going to take any risks so I gave up smoking the sticky icky for 7 months. Didn't use once. Then comes my buddy's birthday. We get hammered. Then At the bar he hands me an e-cigarette, at least that's what I thought it was..

    I realize what I'm about to say will sound really pussyish, but the second a tiny little cloud of vape pot cleared my lips I blew it out (trying not to inhale a full hit of natures delight). I was in the clear. I HADNT SMOKED FOR 7 MONTHS! Then a week before I test, this shit happens.. annnyway. I took a test mid afternoon that next day with a first check 50ng WalMart test, which came back negative. Then the next morning with my first void I took another test and that too was negative. I have 2 ütest 20ng tests in the mail (should be here Wednesday). It sounds like they aren't putting through a lab test, it's an Icup (not a joke) piss test from alere and I don't know what it's cut off is.. if these tests are negative should I be good to take the test on this coming Monday? (08/07/2017)

    All of my undue abstinence may have been wasted by the worst puff of the decade. I appreciate your input.

    You should be good if it's been seven days since you took the puff. I think all cut off tests are 50ng that's the norm

    The cutoff is probably 50ng. I was expecting you to have a story about getting fucked up on one hit. My guess is you'll be fine for your test. On your next home test use your first void of the day.

    I think you are in the clear. I forget where online it is (google it) there is a urine pretest questionnaire which asks you how much you smoked, how long ago etc. It will give you a pretty good idea of what your risk is. I believe for the little amount you half smoked you are fine.

    I'll let yall know how the 20ng tests turn out and the test on Monday. I know I'm bugging out about this..

    If it truly was only one, one or two second hit I would advise you to not worry. Dont exercise, dont do anything but relax and EAT FOOD. This is important to metabolize food instead of body fat so you dont excrete as many metabolites in the urine.

    UPDATE: just got done taking a ütest brand test with a cutoff of 20ng/ml. I filled a mason jar (hipster af) with my first void. I tested negative.. I'll use the other test the morning of my drug test to solidify my results.

    Cool that you're negative. Save your other test for another time, at this point you know you're negative so relax. If you're able

    I don't get why you're so worried. You've passed test after test including 20ng tests. So what if it's a lab test? You'll pass, bud.

    I said I would let all of you know the outcome so here it is. The day I tested was 12 days after the event, it kept getting pushed off which was lucky I suppose. The test wasn't done on site, it was sent off to a lab. I later inquired how sensitive the test was and the test was a 50 ng/ml cutoff. My test came back negative.

    5'9"
    180 lbs
    Average metabolism
    I've got a bit of a beer gut, I'm not the skinniest guy.
