Hey everyone...this is my first post and I need your help! I woke up this morning to this the rooms temp is about 70-75 I have 2 others growing in the same room and they're fine, anyone know what the deal is? Thanks in advance...Jamie
hey looks like to me lack of water, altho the soil looks wet but i am stoned. how far is the light to it? and what type of light?
I try and water regularly... the light is a metal halyde(spelling?) and its sits about 12-17 inches away from the plants...
this is what the plant looked like a few days ago plus the other two... they're still young'ns only about a month old...
that makes sense...I actually had it about 2 feet away then a buddy told me they looked like they were struggling for light so I moved the light closer...why do you think the other 2 plants are still okay?
i wouldnt reccomend moving the light, the leaves arent burned or curling like they would if heat was an issue. the pH of your soil could be high, that often causes leaves to wilt and droop. it could also be overwatering, how often do you water them? every other day is enough to keep a plant healthy. I am wondering why its so small for a month old. MH should promote more growth than that in a month. and again we need all the info about your plant, nutes soil ferts pH temps humidity EVERYTHING is needed to help you out.
okay...this is my very first time growing green...I know ME FTL The soil I used was miracle grow moisture control...I don't know the PH balance yet...I'm going to get a reader tomorrow...I don't know the exact humidity reading but its not a lot if any...don't know what nutes is? I am a n00b at this for sure...any tips or anything is much appreciated. Pretty much I just got a light, a closet and some already grown seeds...probably like 2 weeks old and just planted them in said soil...I water probably like every other, other day...is that too little?
You water every other, other day? What the hell does that mean? Anyhow, nutes are Nutrients, since you didn't know. It's kinda like "Plant-Vitamins". Get the humidity degree, it's a must! And pH strips for checking the pH out is important too.
No you dont need to water every day. I like to water once ever 2-3 days or so depending on the temps inside or the look of the plant. Unless you are watering with virtually no water, theres no reason to water every day. Watering everyday will result in ill effects on your plants. It can also lead to the development of mold which will also kill your plant. And to answer the nutes question that i forsee, nutes should be begun at 1/8th or 1/4 strength to begin with, but only after 3-4 weeks of growth in soil grows. The plant should be able to use the nutrients in the soil to grow without enhancement. Extra nutrients will burn the leaves and can lead to the death of your plant.
High vader! those temps, where did you get them? and how? seems like the lights so close, would raise the temps Of the area(or surface) for the plants. Move the lght off the plant, like 3-4 feet. only move closer if streach is noticeable. Peace, TBug
thanks man... If you mean the temperature? I have a little thermomiter(spelling?) in the room and it fluctuates from 70 when the doors open, to about 75 when its closed BTW Hi T.Bug
