Well, my fiancé and I are down to our last nug. Our guy should have our next shipment today.

I decided to do a quick photo-shoot with the nikon to try and get some pretty pictures.

What do you think of the quality of our bud? It's not medical (I live in NC) but it is the best that we can find atm.

  2. Looks like very nice quality to me. :smoking:

Picture wise, your focus point is off a bit in some of the pictures, and when you have a reflective background it's a much better idea to put the camera on a sturdy surface and turn the flash off.

    Bud looks nice though. :D

  3. Thank you. I am terrible at manual focus :( The flash was never on, I used flash lights to try to get the lighting right. I should have used a tripod, my fiancé kept telling me that. I didn't listen though. I should have, oh well.

If I take pictures of the new buds, I might try to use natural sunlight and the tripod.

    Thanks for the reply. :)

  4. I'd schmoke it

  5. Your close up picture is actually very nice looking, especially if you're using a normal camera or a cell phone camera without any kind of macro feature.

I was by no means trying to criticize. They are damn fine pictures, to be honest. :D

  6. Damn, That is a nice nug. Do you know what strain it is?

  7. Oh, I didn't take it that way. I like constructive criticism, I thought you were being helpful. :) And thank you :D

As for the strain, I believe he said it was G-13, although since it isn't medical I don't know if I can trust that.

  8. G-13, Nice, Once you smoke your first bowl of it let me know how it is.

  9. Bud looks nice.

As for your camera, you said it was a Nikon? Is it a DSLR? If so, when you don't use flash your camera will compensate by adjusting aperture (how much light enters the lens) and shutter speed (how long the aperture stays open to take the photo and collect light). You need a tripod in lower light situations, but if you are in a well lit room it should snap the photo pretty quickly.

Still the close ups are pretty nice photos! That's a good size nug there.

  10. Thank you!

Yeah, it's a D5000. It was by no means a well lit room, the lighting was just awful, that's why I used flash lights, which probably screwed up the colors.

I wish I had a macro lens. I took a photography class and my final was on macro shots of plants. I borrowed the school's macro lens for that. :D I had reggie back then, so I never even thought to take pictures of it. I would have been embarrassed to upload pictures of that on here. It looked like mulch.:(

  11. I've smoked more of this batch. At first you get this really mellow "It's all good" feeling. You feel like everything is going to be okay. Then you get massive couch lock. I feel like when I smoke joints or blunts I don't get couch lock as bad, for some reason. Also, vaping it gives me a more euphoric high without the couch lock. :)

  12. I should try using my 50mm prime lens and see how much light I can get in the shot since it has a larger aperture than my kit lens. I would love a wide angle and macro lens myself!

I just have the lens it came with. =/ What kind of pictures do you usually take with it. I love nature photography. :)

  14. Looks good to me man :smoke:

  15. thanks, I agree. :)

  16. I should probably also mention this nug has been stored since I believe late December or January.

  17. D5000 eh?

I've got the 3100! :D They're practically related. Anyway. Look into some macro extension tubes. I use mine all the time & they are much cheaper than a macro lens.

    Great nug.

  18. Thank you! I'll definitely look into that!

  19. wtf no hairs. at all. but it looks like some good smooth smoke, diesnt look like it gives an annoying headache, looks floaty and tastey

  20. There were orange hairs, once it was torn apart they were more visible. I think the bad lighting caused the hairs to kind of blend in with the leaves. It wasn't very hairy though.

PS: We had some orange crush a while back and there were more hairs on that than I've ever seen before.
