I have a foot tall plant in a gallon bucket. I just started flowering. Is it possible to leave it in there or must i swap for a bigger one.
Yeah, you'll be fine. I currently can only flower in a max of a 1gal bucket. Had a plant that was about 2 ft tall, and it still did great and yielded pretty well.
In general, at least from what ive read in countless books and heard from other growers of the years, a plant should have a gallon of soil space per every foot tall it is. If a plant is 3 feet tall, it should have 3 gallons of soil. Once you finish your grow and pull them plants up and look at the rootball im sure you will see why. Roots grow down faster then they do outward also, its always better to get a pot thats taller then it is rounder.
