1 fan 2 chambers

  1. I am planning my second grow. It will be it a new cab. 47wx20dx70h. It is aplit down the middle in half. Would 1 4" inline fan be enough for both areas? Or 1 6" fan for both sides through a carbon filter and a 4" for the intake fan? Or would I need a 4" for each side? I was thinking of maybe even using a damper to slow the airflow down to help control temps.

I am using a 4 tube t5 fixture. so I would have the heat of an hid but ambient temps can got up to around 80.

  2. If this helps......

I grow in tents, two seperate ones, a small 24X36X54" veg tent, and a 40X40X76" flower tent. I use two air cooled selaed hoods, and 1 6" 424 CFM Vortex Inline fan to vent both rooms through about 24' of ducting. I can run the fan on low speed for the veg room only or at medium for both tents and keep temps at any range from 70-82 deg.

I think the 4" inline will do both no problem
