1.2 of vaped budd

Discussion in 'Weed Edibles' started by NotPotRelated, Mar 14, 2012.

  1. im going to throw it on a peanut butter sanwhich wrap it in tin foil and let it sit over night? will it work?

  2. If its already vaped you don't even need to wrap it up and let it sit. You can throw it right on the peanut butter sandwich and eat it

  3. Reason I should own an mflb #420
    :p

  4. this is where its from!

  5. do u think i can do like a .7 and still get high?

  6. letting it sit overnight won't be effective, you need to use your oven to apply heat.
The oil will not absorb the thc in just one night at room temp. You might still get high, but you would've gotten higher if you took the time to cook it right.

same thing for eating it plain, you will get high, but way less high then when oil/alcohol and heat are applied.

  7. The oil doesn't have to absorb the THC if you eat the plant material and it's already been heated.

The vape activated the THC, now all that's got to happen is ingestion. You can eat a few spoonfuls of ABV and fly to the moon... as long you can stomach the taste.

  8. Yeah you don't need to heat it again, its already been vaped, i.e. activated.
Also eating raw weed will not get you high. You might convince yourself to think it does, via the placebo effect, but all logic says it will not get you high.

  9. i wouldnt do .7, but i once made one from .9 of vaped weed and went to outer space. i usually use 1.2-1.5 in mine

  10. Yeah last time i spread 3 grams on a pb&j, and it was a little too much. 1.5 - 2.0 seems to be a good dose for me, but it all depends on the person tbh.

  11. by applying heat i am not refering to decarbing your bud. I am refering to heat being applied to your oil to speed up the extraction, compared to just letting them sit out (wich takes weeks to complete sometimes).

And what makes you guys think that other rules apply when making edibles with vaped weed compared to regular weed? The only step you can skip is decarbing, if you want the most bang out of your (vaped) buck, you should still infuse oil instead of eating raw (vaped). Again, not saying it won't get you high, dissolving in oil just works better, look it up.

And yes, eating plain, non-decarbed weed will ALSO get you high. Just way waaaaaay les high than when you decarb and dissolve in oil/alcohol.

  12. We already know this man. He's putting it in peanut butter which has lots of oil and fat. Also decarbing vaped bud will have no benefit whatsoever. It's already been vaped which is essentially decarbing, just at a slightly higher temperature. What's all this extraction stuff you're talking about? If it was raw unvaped bud, then yes cooking it with oil, decarbing it, and mixing it with alcohol (which would result in hash) would be excellent things to do. With vaped bud, however, it's all completely unnecessary.

Sorry to say pb doesnt have that much fat. One of the worst methods you can do is this. Jezn knowz what hes talking about. He never sqid to decarb it. He said to apply heat to extract it. Read the post. And cooking weed in oil will not create hash WTF!?!!?!?

  14. It has a decent amount of fat and loots of oil. How else would firecrackers work (without using the oven method)?

  15. i rolled a blunt earlier today containing .8 grams of vaped weed. i got so high i couldnt move without feeling nauseous, and had to lay down in bed.

do not underestimate vaped weed, people.

  16. i didn't say anything about decarbing the vaped bud in my post, maybe you should read it again when you aren't high ;)

and peanut butter has 30% fat, wich isn't alot if you want to make a decent edible. Why not you may ask? Because you only have a 30% chance for your thc to come into contact with the oil. And this needs to happen when you make a worth-while edible.

When you simmer your vaped (or unvaped but decarbed) bud in oil/alcohol, this extracts the thc into the oil/alcohol, resulting in infused oil/alcohol.
The oil acts like a carrier for the thc to get it in your bloodstream, eating plain vaped herb is way less effecient than this because you body has a hard time digesting vaped (or regular) cannabis.

You said eating undecarb herb would have no effect, why do you think so? Think about this: no matter if its decarbed or undecarbed, both sorts (vaped/unvaped) will have a certain amount of THC in them, unvaped will just have a lot of (unusable) THCa too. If you think eating vaped weed works, following the same logic, eating unvaped should work as wel. It will just be a waste of herb compared to cooking it right.
