Buying the setup is a good deal and saves you time and money. Just be sure u can vent the hood so u dont end up with heat issues.
And now thinking more about it I bet you could do like 4 plants in 2 gallon pots but you could veg for too long.
Personally 2 plants with a vented 400w hid would work great in that space.
