Quantum Computing and a theory of mind

  1. This first video is actually the last of the talk (in 3 parts) but it's the one where the speaker presents his theory of what the mind is and what it does.

I will note that each of the talks are an hourish long. You don't have to watch the first two parts to get the last but it would help.

Also the first two are technical speak heavy but if you can make it through a phy 2 class you can at least gasp the majority of what they are talking about.

The whole talk is actually about these guys that have made a quantum computer, they cover how it works and what kind of problems it's designed to solve as well as why they picked this method over the others that are possible. Very interesting if you can make it through the video's.
