Blackberry (purple, fruity) *MACROS* + Full review

Ok, so I had been posting some of my favorites dank pickups last year in 2008. I liked it so much, that I've decided to do it again for this year! And I must say we are starting the year off right with this ultimate badass strain called Blackberry.

First off... let's just get some pictures going...

Review:

Ok, so at first glance, the weed is purple deep within the buds. This is not a DOMINANT PURPLE strain, so there are green buds and even yellowish buds mixed within.. all adding to the SUPERB flavor of BB!

The flavor is so orgasmic! At first your hit with the absolute fruitiness of the berries (almost like a bowl of fruity pebbles lol) and then it switches to that amazing "purple" flavor that only seems to exist in purple strains.

The smell is fruity and pleasant. When in bud form you can definitely cringe your nose when smelling this bad girl! But when she's burned... OMG! Talk about a mindfuck, cuz the smell just gets magnified as the flavor overpowers your tastebuds!

The high is off this planet! Mos def a Sativa strain or mostly Sativa, judging by the high alone. Just two hits in my usual wake and bake instantly woke me up, and sent me on one of the craziest morning trips I've ever had. Time and space got distorted, and an hour would seem like a Day. This is awesome because you feel high way longer when your really not.

The price was 60USD for 3.5g (1/8 oz.) and 110 for 7.0g (1/4 oz.). Really not bad considering the average mean price in SA is Ten dollars more expensive! So I got some very rare bud in the SA area for less than the average price... Man I love knowing people that grow for a living.

AS PROMISED... SOME GOOD OL BUD PORN! Gentleman please change your pants!

yes sir it was. Any advice on how to avoid that? I need to get close for the MACROS to work, but then again too close means a lot of shadow since I'm usually in a dark place when the pictures are taken.

 

Uhm, I thought Black Russian was Blackberry crossed with Spoetnik. Spoetnik has ak47 roots though. And yes, I want to order the seeds of both BB and Spoetnik to bring back Black Russian, that's a strain that I've always dreamed of smoking. *sigh*

That's much appreciated, I've wanted the names of the Dominant Purple strains for awhile. The theory is that no matter what the growing conditions or ph balance is, the buds will turn purple during the later part of flowering. As a breeder these are ALL seeds I want to have in my collection. I'd love to mix a lot of these strains together, backcross them, and mix them with a heavy White strain.

If I could I would bro, but its super risky lol. I wish everyone could try some of this buddah, its sooo yummy. One day I'll breed my own strain, and include this in the genetics, then you can purchase my seeds off the internet when I begin my business! So it's not far fetch'd that I may one day be sending you something in the mail heh.
