One of my favorite bands. My favorite song is Third Eye off Aenima, but im too lazy to look for a video and there probably isnt one anyways since its so long.
I take my trusty crowbar with me everywhere I go. Just in case theres a crate I need to destroy, or some headcrabs to smash.
I love Tool. Right now my favorite song by them is eulogy, some of the drum beats are insane. At 6:54 in this video you can see what I mean: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eNqYlkGYtGM]YouTube - Eulogy by Tool[/ame]

I'm pretty sure Maynard has done his fair share of psychedelic drugs, I can't imagine him using any hard drugs though. I'm just assuming though. I know Alex Jones, the guitarist, has done DMT before. Saw it in an interview somewhere.
haha, yes TONS of lsd, heroin, meth, ex and shrooms, and weed in the 90s.... now he's gone through rehab, but I presume he still smokes weed.
i was wondering that because i know he ahs a family and stuff now so i cant imagine he stil does those i have heard the thing about tons of lsd [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zw3FTiWRXF8]YouTube - TOOL--Sober 1993[/ame] if you lok how is standing in this video he musta been fucked btw he stood liek that the whole concert
One of the greatest bands in recent history in my opinion. Their concerts are just out of this world.

have you guys noticced the vast difference between tools earlier albums and the more recent ones [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HYNkVNXlfkw]YouTube - Tool Undertow[/ame] this is on of their older [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UhjG47gtMCo]YouTube - Tool - Schism[/ame] a later one
There first two albums were very hardrockish (Opiate and Undertow)....then AEnima and Lateralus were very long trippy ass songs. Finding your third eye and whatnot kind of stuff. Then their most recent album, 10000 Days was actually about the tyranny in modern day society, and also about Maynard's mom. Honestly it's kind of a mix between there trippy stuff and there hard rock stuff. And there new up-and-coming album will show what the real path their gonna take in there music career. They have changed in styles a bit, my favorite era was AEnima and Lateralus's trippy stuff...Third Eye, Hooker with a Penis, Aneima, Eulogy, 46&2, Lateralus, Schism, and Parabola are musical masterpieces all with a REALLY awesome deep meaning and spirituality to them.
