OK Its been awhile. Im starting a nice, new grow and since I have nothing else to do I figured Id start a new journal. I've partnered with an old friend to combine our eqipment and know-how. He's definately bat-shit crazy. But thats why we get along. Its never gonna be the prettiest, but I promise we're gonna make it do what it do baby. What Im working with. Space. Veg. Room. 8'X12"X 10' 1 400w HPS and 1 250w HPS We'll be adding 2 additional 400w to the veg.room as needed. (They'll be MH) Closet for the mothers and clones 3'X 6' X 10' 1- 250w HPS Boatloads of fluros. Flower room. 12'X15'X10' 1- 1000w HPS 1- 600w HPS 3 - 400w HPS 1- 250w HPS 4" inline duct fan for fresh air intake 10" inline fan for heat & air exhaust All with brand spanking new wiring dedicated to the grow. Medium and Ferts 100% B'cuzz hydromix. We'll be using 3.5 gallon reusable shopping bags to gro in for the time being. (wait till you see what we get for 50¢ a bag. Pretty Awesome) Fox Farms. Big Bloom, Growbig, Tiger Bloom, Open sesame, Beastie blooms, Cha-Ching. Genetics We have a few plants currently growing both in veg and flower that are a mix of, Wonder Woman, Jack Black , Blue Mystic, and a few others. The Attitude comes through again. 1 OG Kush Tahoe cut Cali connection 1 Sour Kush AKA Headband Reserva Privada(BS. It never popped. I want my money back Attitude. LOL) 1 Blue Widow. Dinafem (Blueberry X White Widow) 1 Arjans Ultra Haze. Greenhouse Seeds. (from a grow 2 years ago and it popped. BS Reserva Privada BS.) Pyramid seeds 1 Tutankhamon (fancy name for AK-47) 1 Osiris (AK-47 X White Widow) 1 Anethesia (Northern Lights X Black Domina) Im looking forward to all 3 of Pyramids strains. Got them as a promo but they look promising. Im going to be building a 36 spot aero-cloner as well very soon. I have the pieces, I just have to put them together in a fasion that creates a friggin aero-cloner. I have space to fill, ya know? I probably fogot all kinds of stuff but Ill catch up when I post some pics tomorrow. Feel free to chime in.
Well Then. Since I COMPLETELY forgot I started this thread awhile back, I guess maybe I should start adding pics. I got a new comp. and it doesnt have card slots. So I have to pick up a usb cable. Until then Ill use my cell. The Tahoe OG is a male. Thinking of breeding it with my Arjans Ultra Haze. Right now we're really in Clone mode. We have about 80 clones going and now we have some of the good new genetics in the bud room starting and a bunch on the veg room floor.
I realized I already had a usb cable for my camera. 85 clones total (25 AK, 20 Osiris, 20 Anethseia, 20 Blue Widow) 40 plants in Veg. 30 good 10 "Take-A-Chance"''es. 23 plants in flower. The bud pictures didnt come out well. But I snapped a few of the Arjans Ultra Haze, Anesthesia, Blue Widow, and AK-47. We only have 1 of each in the flower room so far. Hence the clones. The pump we had for our aero-cloner wasnt big enough. So until we can get the right one we'll be doing it the old fasion way. And let me add this AK-47 roots in 10-12 days. Ramping up Quick. Will be ordering: Himalayan Gold, Blackwater, and Headband(again) next week.
Almost. But Thx. Does anyone know if I keep a male Tahoe OG in the Veg room will its pre-flowers produce pollen? Ive been thinking of crossing my Arjan's Ultra Haze with this male OG. I think that could potentially be a super sick cross. But wont be able to do it for awhile and dont want to risk disaster in the meantime. Any thoughts?
The male preflowers shouldn't produce any pollen unless it gets stressed out. If it gets too stressed (bad transplant etc) it could start producing pollen very quickly..
I like what I see here, count me along for this shiz. You only grow from seed? I mean no access to clones? I think ya get what I am saying , fucking ripped right now. Take it easy
Thats kind of what I figured. I guess I thought of pollen along the lines of resin and figured it wouldnt really kick in until a few weeks into flowering. No access to clones. Everything is done from seed, but as you can see, Im not afraid ofmaking my own.
Just a few more pics. The bud is one from the mix. Smells just like Original Bubble Yum. Then some random bud room and Veg shots and mothers. The last shot is Tahoe OG. So bummed its a male. That plant makes my whole veg room stink.
That's a great looking Tahoe OG. If I were you I would be very tempted to flower it out in isolation and collect the pollen to store in the fridge for later. That way you wouldn't have to hold onto the plant itself and take care of it. I sprouted some BC Bud Depot Sweet God a while back, one turned out male and we're flowering it in a little storage closet across the house from our girls... might cross it with Hindu Kush later
Well thats kind of what we're planning on. But we're gonna just take it to another location, flower it out and save it. I want to X it w the AUH but that will proly have to wait until next time. I was just concerned about the time being. But your right. That plant is the shizinizz. Its vigor and structure are both really nice. + It stinks already.
Sorry for the pics. I wanted to show the trichs but they came out blurry. You can see what Im working with by looking around though. LOTS of purple. Just by flushing with ice cold water.
The 2 that arent quite as done and bigger are the Blue Widows. Then the Veg room. The small plants that have already rooted have now been topped before the transplant into bigger containers. It will take a me a few times but Ill get some good shots.
some that just finished up. Some smells like Lemon/dank, some smells like bubble gum, some smells like some strong fruity kool-aid or something.
These plants look beautiful man ! I'm lovin' it, I wish I could do something like this. Only thing I can say is try for better macro shots so we can see those gorgeous buds right up close. The grow itself looks amazing though. Good luck with the rest of it,
That is one huge beautiful grow Vader. Look on your camera settings for a icon for a flower. That will let you focus inon those buds. Unless we see trichs we think your just growing catnip.
