Hows she look for 6 days old? 11 days since the seed was planted 6 days since sprouted Just hooked up my CO2 and am planning on starting nutrient schedual next sunday
11 days old Gave her full strength nutrients today Everything seems to be going just fine except for some small brown spots that have appeared on the second set of leaves. Anyone know what this could be from? Possibly nutrient burn? I kinda think its from being a little too close to my light as the plant grew a good amount since I transplanted and just moved the light up about an inch today for the first time. The light is about 7'' from the top if the plant. I started the plant in on a weak strength nutrient solution last wed. I was aweay since about noon yesterday and everything was fine when I left so these spots just showed up within 24 hours. I flushed the nutrients and started on a full strength 4 week veg schedual today. also is is supposed to be so yellow in the center?
Way too early for nutes, if your cotyledons are still green and alive, then you don't need to feed. Wait until at least 2 weeks to start on 1/4 strength then move on to full by 3
Thanks for the info. the cotyledons have started to turn a yellowish color, and wed. would mark the 2 week date since it sprouted above the top of the root plug. when I transplanted the sprout/plug into the net cup i noticed that there was already a small white root about 1/2'' long coming outta the bottom of the plug already. I ran bottled spring water in my system with a few drops of my rooting supliment from an eye dropper. About 3 days later I called the manufacturer of the nutrients that I am using and asked them when they sugest starting the feeding schedual and the guy told me as soon as it starts rooting. So all in all thats why I started the plant on a 1/4 strength solution so early. There is 3-5'' long roots comming outta the bottom of the net cup already. when I say I started my plant on a full strength 4 week veg cycle I just mean that im beginning to follow the the chart off the manufacturers website. The ppm was at first around 600 and after I changed the nutes last night now its at about 800 after about 3 weeks the schedual has the ppm up to 1100. So i guess its not realy "full" strength yet. Do you think that my plant will "grow into" the current nutrient solution since it should be able to handle it at 2 weeks old, I checked it this morning and it looked to be about the same as lastnight.
Day 13 PH-6.0 PPM-850 CO2-1300-3000ppm (3000ppm because I cant control the over shoot but plant doesnt seem to be negatively affected) Just checked the PH and it crept up to since sunday from 5.7-5.8 to 6.5 so I added a few drops of PH down and now its at 6.0 Plant seems to be doing good. Whatever that problem that I had was, it seems to be gone. All new growth is nice and green and the yellow appears to be going away and the spots are not getting worse or spreading so all in all I think im doing ok. Small "bud sites/branches" starting to appear on Second set of leaves Roots look great to me but since this is my first grow I have nothing to compair to. Here are some pix. Please let me know what you think, since this is my first grow I have nothing to compair to. I have no clue if my progress is above or below average so drop me a line and let me know what you think. Thanks!
Day 15 PH-5.9 PPM-740 CO2-1300-3000ppm (3000ppm because I cant control the over shoot but plant doesnt seem to be negatively affected) The plant seems to be growing great. The 5th set of leaves is growing in nicely and should open up by tomorrow. for some reason grasscity will not let me post my pix cuz I already have em on another threrad, Dont see what they gotta make it so hard for me to put the same pictures on 2 different threads so go to this luink and see post #9 http://forum.grasscity.com/indoor-marijuana-growing/725488-plant-healthy-hq-pix.html#post9200668
Day 17 PH-5.9 PPM-940 CO2-1300-3000ppm (3000ppm because I cant control the over shoot but plant doesnt seem to be negatively affected) I think my plant must have taken up alot of water in the bast few days and left the nutrients behind. Thats the only thing I can think of as to why the PPM went up so much. Unfortunitly some of the yellowing has come back I still have no clue why. I began some LST today here are my pix
Day 22 PH-5.5 PPM-890 CO2-1300-3000ppm (3000ppm because I cant control the over shoot but plant doesnt seem to be negatively affected) Growing great first branches are getting taller, almost as tall as the rest of the plant nitrogen dif. was corrected just need to make sure I stay on top of the ppm levels in the res. The plant is taking up solution like crazy she drank about 3/4'' in one day. pix
Day 25 PH-5.8 PPM-1030 CO2-1300-3000ppm (3000ppm because I cant control the over shoot but plant doesnt seem to be negatively affected) Plant is doing great. its taking up nutrient solution like crazy and side branching is looking awesome.
Day 27 PH-5.8 PPM-1020 CO2-1300-2100ppm (finally figured out how to control the 3000ppm over shoot) Plant is doing great, side branching is going great too. nothing else to report.
Day 39 PH-56.1 PPM-650 CO2-1300-2100ppm (finally figured out how to control the 3000ppm over shoot) Its been awhile so heres the scoop I was over feeding for awhile so thats why the drop in PPM. Everything is going great since I got the ppm dialed in, I installed the screen for a scrog and have one budsite already grown up through that I had to move. My guess is that ill have 2-3 more bud sites to move in about 2 days
Day 82 PH-6.2 PPM-1600 CO2-1300-1600ppm I know its been awhile so here are some pix, they just started to smell last week
