This is my new grow journal!

I’m on my fourth grow now and am looking forward to what I can do with everything I’ve learned to date.

So this grow I started out with a plan to have 4 plants as that’s what’s legal to have in Canada.

I’m going to be adding pictures and updates quite often at first as I’m over a month in now and just starting lol.

For this grow I’m using all bag seed I’ve accumulated over the years and have been given. No idea on the strains, so it could be anything.

    Here we go!

Starting the seeds and getting the jiffy pods set up:

    The initial veg setup:

The first to pop its head up
    [IMG]

    [IMG][IMG]

    Time to pot up
    [IMG]

    Others popping up!

Getting them put into new homes as well.

    Good progress so far.

Signs of life from the final 2 seeds. All in I had 4 seeds prove to be duds or not survive and 5 successful germinations. Not great but I’m not surprised with bag seeds of unknown age and genetics.

  2. So, the oldest plant is 5 days older than the 2 nearest and they’re 4 days older than the last 2 just so everyone knows.

Transplanted the last two seedlings into pots:

    Getting bigger:
    Still trucking along.
Transplanted the biggest to the next pot:

Put the 600W metal halide in as I figured they were big enough now. Sorry about the blurple up until now, it’s gone now.

Little ones getting bigger followed by a couple more detailed older plant pics:
    [IMG][IMG][IMG]
Weird moulting on leaves, possibly tmv:
Next 2 transplanted to their next homes:
Starting the training on the oldest and also fimmed it:
Culled the one with possible tmv:
Got the last 2 transplanted to their next pots.
Training is going well on the biggest:

    Male preflowers on the oldest:
    [IMG][IMG]
Decided to try and revive the culled plant since the jiffy pod it was in was still attached and some roots would still be in there. It’s been without water at this point for 4-5 days and looking pretty much dead but why not. [IMG][IMG]
    Plants are still doing great
    [IMG]
Starting to train and fim the next oldest:
The culled plant seems to be gaining some life again:
    [IMG][IMG]
Now sure enough this is a male to warrant separating it
    [IMG]
Moved the male outside in a different pot and transplanted the survivor plant into a bigger pot:
Training and fimming the next 2:
    Everything still trucking along:
The one I literally threw into a pot outside(because the root ball disintegrated as I took it out of the pot as the roots hadn’t had time to fill the pot) is not only still alive but thriving:

    Still trucking
    [IMG]
    Some good growth going on
    [IMG]
Defoliated the biggest in the tent
    [IMG]
    Male outside still doing well
    [IMG]
Big plant recovering from the defoliation very well
    [IMG]
Outside male growing very quickly now
    [IMG]
    Nothing much new
    [IMG]
    Getting bigger

    Still growing nicely

Keeping the canopy nice and even for the most part
    [IMG]
Got some nice bushes, the training is paying off
    [IMG]
The plant I almost killed off is doing nicely despite my efforts to kill it earlier lol
    [IMG]
Outside plant. At least the hot tub space is being used by something other than my old water hose
    [IMG]
    Nothing much new
    [IMG]
It’s been tricky trying to keep them the same height but doing ok at it

Going to continue updating every now and then and I plan on starting flowering in about 2 weeks or so.

  6. Thanks! Won’t be too long before I flip them. I want them to gain some more height first.

  8. Very nice! What light are you using?

  9. Thanks! I’m using a 600w mh.

  10. Very nice! I like MH. how does that effect your power bill? Just how much more per month would you say.

  11. I’m so jealous you don’t have spider mites

  12. Really couldn’t give you a number. I’m on equalized payments so my bills are always the same every month. I’ve gone with and without using them in the last couple of years and haven’t noticed a major increase or decrease either way.

  14. Yeah how do you deal with them? And how do you not have them?

  15. Neem oil is quite good I’ve heard. I’ve never had them thankfully!

    Mites don’t like it.[IMG]
