over feeding ...look real close at the feed instructions and cut in half right now flush out and wash your balls and roots too in air temp ph'ed water good luck ps maybe add some kitchen foil on top the balls to prevent evaporation= you decide
Cal deficiency is your first problem. I'll leave others to input their solutions since I haven't done hydro.
It started off fine I added nutes using ro water and when I added cal mag I put a lot less than what the directions said I noticed the leaves turning 2 days in and i immediately check notes and seen I put a lot less than the amount that was suggested this was 2 weeks ago Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
I was told refill the reservoir wit the correct amount nutes you suppose to use and youll b ok Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
How about a pic of the roots under natural light? What's the pH? Do you check the reservoir pH daily? What's the temperature of the reservoir?
6.0 water temp 65-70 keep frozen water bottles in redo our daily Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
I had almost the exact same problem as you in hydro recently. Turns out my pH pen had gone out of calibration. I thought it was around 6.0, but the plants knew it was 4.7, and they looked a lot like yours. They have mostly recovered, but size and yield have been harmed. If you use reputable nutes, and feed half strength or less, they might recover. Over-feeding and/or wrong pH can wreak havoc. vostok's advice is excellent.
I used an the new growth coming in green so I’m hoping she recover any pics of yours currentlyb Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Cal Mag is definitely an issue, add more hydroton... in the future, plant it a little higher in the net pot as to cover all net pot windows so that light doesn’t reach the roots. The internet, this forum... are good places to learn. Peace.
your problem is light is hitting the water. The plant will soon die from root rot unless covered and treated with great white or something similar, calibrate your PH pen. Set the PPM's to 350 and PH to 5.9 Change the water and do that. You should be ok
