Gorillataped's Qb Coco Grow

I've been back and forth with this grow.
Moving plants around more than I should. Switching between grow styles mid run with clones.
It's weird. I'm not perfect, and this sure as hell isn't.

Started this shit in June.
Pulled the clones from a 5gal DWC bucket that was some bag seed.

These showed sex a long time ago, but I made them take their sweet as time. Here you go





Setup:
5'x2'x8' closet, painted a nice matte white.
4qb132@3500k (with 2 knock off 288s in 3000k coming in) both using an HLG-240H-C1750A

The clones are in a 50/50 coco/perlite mix using Cyco Grow and Bloom A&B with Silica, maybe.

Vegged under a 4000k 100wqb

I'm just mostly winging this, lazily, with a bit of research. Any help, tips, etc is appreciated.

Oh man, this thing was weird from the beginning. If it never grew out of that I doubt I'd post this up.

The first clone taken was from the very first node some time after like a month and a half that had two individual tops. Topped that one and produce five tops. Lol. The thing is weird.

All other clones have normal growth. One was topped once. And one wasn't topped at all. Just cause.

Have some real quality seeds going down in about a month when I get my room together a bit more.

Have two knock off 288s in 3000k on their way Friday so I'll have to build a new frame, but the other one was bunk anyways. As well as a 4" carbon filter since the ladies are starting to stink.

As of now, this is a pretty labor intensive route coming from a 5gal DWC, but I'm up for suggestions.

I've been able to hand water with gallon jugs, but now two of them are using almost 3/4 of a gallon each feeding.

Plan is to do a DTW system using a drip system inspired by @Soil2Coco with a plastic piece, similar to what stores use to display their plants during the summer, that fits perfectly in my closet with a catch pan underneath that will gravity feed to a bin that I will pump out my window to my little garden once it's full.

Once I have the lights I'll add the build on them and posted up.

 

This whole thing has been a diy nightmare/coming of age tale. I'm indecisive. Thanks to you and a couple others I think I'm figuring some things out finally.

Shot of the ladies early this morning.
They get up at 1AM and feed at 230. pictures are before and shortly after(not sure why lighting is so drastically different, but same lighting, both pics).


Defoled a little on the girl I'm letting just go straight up. Nice, heavy green leaves. Blocking all the damn light.

Ordered some beans from Mary's Seeds and got them wayyyyyy faster than I expected to so I dropped two of Ripper's Criminal+ fems and some unknown Bubba Kush fem freebies. Was planning on waiting until I moved, but fuck it.

Bubba Kush dropped in water within 2 hours so I got a shot of them. The criminal+ is in the coffee mug. Shot of the germination station.

No action in this thread, but we got some shit going on.

I'm not honestly sure where I'm at in flower, but I'm guestimating around w2d2.

Not sure on ppm because my meter is whack and this works, or at least has lately*

*First time only bloom nutes cuz I added em in the days leading to flip cuz idk what I'm doing and that sounded right.

Sup to 2 Criminal+ (right) making an appearance and a bubba Kush (left/toothpicks) which is disappointing both aren't up as it was the quickest to pop.



Planning on increasing lighting in closet with some knock off 288s from Amazon(might catch house on fire, but that's what insurance is for..jk)
Hopefully it's worth it. Should be ~400w, maybe a lil less.

Now if I can just get an irrigation system setup I'll be happy. That space is weird being 4'x2' with the trim popping out on the inside of the closet(put trim on inside of closet doors but left exposed 2x4's. Trying to keep the doors on. About to vent into attic as ceiling will need to be replaced at some point after I move out anyways.

 

I have been absolutely lazy as shit, but I've been working a lot, so it's to be expected.
Have to close up my closet soon since I finally have a carbon filter, but no motivation to mount it. Anyways...

Then nothing much going on in the closet, but the different clone just looks better day by day(at one point it was spitting out single leaves for forever that were trying to look serated(sp?) but all came out rounded).
The others are just putting on more pistils, slowly. At the half way point of week 2 in flower.

 

Other shots since my wifi cut out halfway through this, but they are weird, so lemme know if I need to edit these, or a better way I should go about taking photos of this with my pixel2 xl if anyone knows lol.

 

I think this is week three. I honestly might be on week four. Oh well.
Carbon filter installed.
Still no light additions, and probably gonna be a problem in two weeks.
Everything is budding like crazy.

If anyone can, lemme know how they look or if I need to do anything.

Thanks, was worried I had already did too much. Is it best to remove a few daily to let it bounce back, or take a lot at once?
