What's up folks, I think it's about time to get my doc going on these lights. After much back and forth I decided to get on the bandwagon with the QB LED. Of course when I get in the loop all types of better options present themselves but I decided that I would start from the bottom with this (to me) as basic as you can get going into qb's kit. All that said, here's what's going down. I will be growing 4 autos and 3 photos under the HLG 288v2 260w kit in 3k in a 2x4x5 grow tent that is inside a walk in( heat! ventilation! I know!). For the autos I will be growing 1.Dutch Passion Colorado Cookies and 3. Seedstockers CandyDawg. As for the Photos I will be growing 1. Barney's Red Diesel and 2. K-Train (nothing 100 on the breeder yet). Medium is a 50/50 of Happy Frog and Ocean Forrest with additional perilite, blood meal, bone meal, and lime in 3g fabric pots and a 2g plastic pot. Things are a little out of order at the moment due to stuff still getting shipped yada yada yada. Will update as I get it together.
Got my planter tray in. Thinking about filling it with some river rocks to avoid run off sharing. Maybe some of the white ones so I can get some of that reflection back.
Well couldn't find polished white river rock, but I'm digging the sexy zen vibes I'm getting with this. I won't say its fully complete until I can remove the T joint from the drying tent in about a week, but pretty much done.
Nothing too exciting going on yet. Got the the booster and filter off the drying tent and back on the 2x4 so temps will probably come down to about 77 at the canopy and 81 around the lights. Not bad for a closet. Tried moving the lights down to 24 inches but the photos didn't like it so I brought ot back up to 30.
May have been a little heavy on the Blood meal in the oldest Dawgs soil mix. My run off was reading 2400ppm. It had only been watered to runoff that one time so I waited till it was dry enough to do a flush today. Got the runoff down to 1000 with 4.5 gallons of rain water. Hopefully it will come out of tox and not be stunted too bad.
Diesel is doing great! Don't know if it growing like flat cabbage is totally good yet. K-Train may be my space hog, and that Candy dawg...loving the node space..never had em that tight before.
Went in to defoliate but made use of the twist tie spool instead. Looks about how I would have scissored
