    lets make this easy imagine the only thing using energy in the house is the light you use for your grow room. Say you have a 1000w hps on 24/7 for 30 days. Estimate the electric bill. Thanks alot

    Thats simple.
    Replace '1000w' with the price you pay for a 'unit' of electric.


    EDIT: For me to elaborate:
    1000w x 24 x 7 x 30 = ?
    Replace '1000w' with the price you pay for a 'unit' of electric.

    i dont think you need the 7 in there. shld just be unit price x 24 x 30

    ok so im assuming pg and e has a set price for this unit you speak of depending on where u live. in my case oakland

    Ok, just say it's 15cents where you live...
    15c x 24(hours) = $3.60 per day
    3.60c x 30(days) = $108 per month
