Will the weed still be potent?

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by cornholio331, Jan 27, 2014.

  1. So yesterday I picked up some dank stuff. I stashed it in my mason jar. I soon realized my parents anniversary is coming up in exactly 2 weeks (valentines day, corny as hell). This year is a big year. It's 30 years! I have always been a shitty child so this year I want to pay for a trip to Utah for them. To do this I will be working day and night to scrape enough together and I can't smoke while doing this. Smoking and working don't mix with me. I was bummed because I really want to smoke this stuff but I see the only time I will be able to smoke is in about 2 weeks and a half. I keep my weed sealed and in a dark place. Will it loose potency by then? I have heard of people forgetting about their weed and finding months or years later and they still get high. This true?Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum

As long as you make sure it's dry and thus won't develop mold, then you should be good to storing it up for a year, or even longer if need be.

I have stuff that I harvested in the fall of 2010 stored in mason jars in my clothes drawer...There's a very little amount but I smoke it every now and then.  The original taste and smell is gone, but it still gets me high.
