And the point of the 2nd grade election is to show how people are reacting, yes i agree a 2nd grade election has nothing to do with it but the reactions are the same. Obama offers the "ice cream" which is a placeholder for all the things he promises and his various spending plans.

Also, its easy for these guys to sit there and try and find flaws in my article and bash me. They even say that I don't know what Im talking about and I should do research before I open my mouth. However, ive followed the election from the start, done the research, and you know what? I voted McCain. Lets see them write an article in Obamas favor so I can sit there and completely shut it down. Where is this 700 billion dollars in already proposed new spending going to come from? Wow once again. Someone who cant read. I was pointing out the whole name similarity as a novelty, because I thought it was funny but I admitted in the original article that it had nothing to do with the politics behind my decision. Yes he did win the election, and I knew he would win before November 4th. The reason I posed all of this is because Im sick of extremely incompetent people sitting next to me going off on how great Obama is and treating him like a celebrity.

Over 60 percent of new voters and over 60 percent of young voters voted Obama, and I feel 100 percent of these people had no relevant knowledge and voted for him because of the celebrity hype and his catchy slogan. I had an Obama supporter sit next to me in class the one day who doesn't pay attention at all and all of a sudden busted into the conversation and tried telling us that General Electric was a power company.
