Obama the one to legalize it?

He's voted yes for every medical marijuana law that came up when he was a senator. Could this be the guy to fully legalize it? Probably not but got I hope so.

If a bill made it to his desk legalizing it, I dont think he would veto it. But if it gets legalized, Obama wont have much to do with it besides signing the bill. If you think he is gonna initiate legalizing it in his first term, it isnt gonna happen, he has to win another election in 4 years. Maybe in his second term. Hopefully the lawmakers do something about it now/soon though. Would of helped the cause if the Dems got 60 Senate seats last night.

He isnt the king, he cant just legalize it.

No way...I guarantee he won't.

Our best bet is to get every state to legalize medicinal then go federal after that...long time. Baby steps.

if it would potentially happen, it wouldn't be until his second term if he has one.. this country is currently so fucked up and he has way more to worry about than legalizing MJ.

i agree. weed is illegal and you have to deal with all the risks of getting caught. if weed was legalized tomorrow i don't think all these risks would go away. think about how MMJ states still get fucked by the DEA. i just feel like if it was legalized it would still be criminalized

What if every pothead in america finally did something and marched on washington. We could have a giant smoke out, we would be completely non-violent. They would get the point the marijuana is something that they need to accept. im just saying that for someone so strongly associated with the medical reform, we could use a natural healer as medicine.
