woo! I didnt think I would actuallly be this excited ever about politics, its incredible, I feel so.. American its wierd!!!

but yeah?! whos goin to the inauguration in 09? =D

If I can pry myself away from school and work long enough to make it, I'll try to get a press pass for the event.

God knows GC needs an on-site Photojournalist! Hell, we already have enough Political Analysts to fill DirtyPete's basement three times over. Hookers and all.

I've think you can get tickets to the parade for free...

If you want tickets to the ball, better be ready to fork over some cash though. I heard it was up to $1,300 for a ticket with a confirmed section

We had our chance to capture Bin Laden but Clinton, Tenet, and General Franks wouldn't do it. (read Jawbreaker)

Capturing or killing OBL will cause a severe blow to Al-Qaeda. Stability in Afghanistan is key so that a pack of thugs like the Taliban doesn't try and establish a theocracy again. Pakistan needs to step up to the plate. This isn't a war against an idea it's a war against people who killed 3000 Americans. Did you know that right after the war began the CIA uncovered a plot to bomb Israeli, Australian, and American embassies and also the USS Carl Vincent in Singapore. They stopped that and saved tons of lives. As long as we keep on the offensive we will keep our people safe around the world. That's what Bush has done but most Americans won't thank him for.

I agree, which is why Obama want's to tranfer power to the Iraqi's, fix what was backsliding in afghanistan, and chase after OBL, even if it means going into Pakistan to do it. Thats a war against Terrorist, not a war on terror. You can't wage war against a feeling, against an idea.
