I beg to differ. If he wasn't made a mascot by the Conservatives, he wouldn'tve ended up under such a powerful microscope, and thus wouldnt've been put on a pedestal, and then promptly dragged through the mud. Joe the Plumber is the face that the Republicans put on the issue. You have to be pretty out of it to not be able to see that McCain was the one who got the tough question asked to him. Joe the Plumber is the product of the 3 Presidential and 1 Vice Presidential debate.
