Whats good?

I have been getting more and more interested in hydroponics since I started my little mini bubbleponics rig with a bagseed plant. It has a couple more weeks before chop

Anyway, This thread will outline all my DIY projects and grows so check in and see whats goin on in the lab.

Veg Chamber Specs
15x15x15" cubby thats in an old dresser I have.


I mounted two power strips on each side with two socket adapters with splitters on them. I currently run all daylight CFLs 2x 15W and 2x 18W. I wanted to run all 18W but ventilation isnt good enough yet. Even with this setup, I have temps evening out at about 88F


For exhaust I have an 80mm case fan. I will probably add another or maybe attach another one to this fan, does that even increase flow?


Currently vegging in the cubby is 5 bagseeds; 4 in the Chips Ahoy tray and one in my 3oz. contest entry. The seedling on the bottom left wilted over after I checked on it after eating dinner, it was crazy hot in there.

Quick pic taken just now of my current girl in flower.

One of my new bubbleponics tubs. This is made out of a large 'I Can't believe It's Not Butter' container. Instead of using an airstone, I used a 3-way airline adapter to connect the air supply to a loop with small holes drilled in it. I could've drilled a few less holes but it works just fine as it is.

I added an 80mm fan for circulation inside the veg chamber and temps are now 83-84F

My girl is about 7 weeks into flower and quite a few of the sun leaves have been yellowing for a while, which is normal, however, I took her out to check on her and almost all the leaves are really flimsy and thin, like theyre lacking water. does this mean shes ready to be chopped?

I painted the bucket with two coats of black followed by two coats of white

I chopped my flowering girl yesterday. buds are drying and looking/smelling good!

Checked on my hydro plant to see if theres any roots coming out and i noticed green mold spots on the hydroton! what should I do? I ran it under the sink to try and wash it off but no luck. The water level is about half way up the netpot, is that too high?

Looked again today and we have two roots coming out from the bottom of the netpot!

still need some advice on the mold. I can get pics if it helps at all.
