how to not get the munchies?

  1. it seems whenever im high i eat everything... last night i ate myself sick... like i cant stop eating when im high... which is weird because since ive started ive been eating a lot less sober. like not even a fraction of what i used to eat. is there any way to not get the munchies?

  3. If you have the ability to try different strains of cannabis, I suggest that. Try a sativa, or even a hybrid.

    I disagree with Wiggibow, cannabis isn't a drug. Find something else to do when you've smoked....read a book, go for a hike, study, ANYTHING besides sit around. Get used to being high.
     
  4. The "munchies" is when you justify over eating because you are high. Some people I know use weed as an excuse to eat everytime they get stoned. They don't mean to, but just watch.
    The first post was right though it's about self control and growing as a toker
     
  5. by the definition of the word drug, and as defined by international science, cannabis qualifies as a drug.

    Stoners who spout ignorant pro-weed propaganda like "WEED ISNT A DRUG" do nothing but make stoners as a whole look like idiots to the rest of the quick-to-judge population because it's quite obviously a FACT that marijuana is a drug.

  7. Well if you constantly eat all the time you will never get hungry right? So always be eating something for the rest of your life. Problem solved!
     
  8. I've been smoking 6+ years, and for me, the struggle with munchies is very real. Blazing at night is by far my favorite. So I'll tend to rip a vape, watch some good tv or movie, and munch the fuck out.

    One thing that has actually been working for me to curb the munchies is to brush your teeth after you smoke or right before you start to get the craving to munch out. Brushing your teeth not only feels amazing (try flossing too, feels great and you know it's good for you-double win) but it totally helps me not munch b/c I know I'll just have to brush them again before bed, and who wants double work? Not my lazy stoned ass.

    Essentially, you need to figure out your normal pattern of munching or smoking and then figure out a way to disrupt your munch time before it happens. Some people need to get up and move/go for a walk, some people use gum or mints, some use water. I personally have tried all of those and nothing works like brushing your teeth, at least for me.

  10. I used to get the munchies pretty bad my first year or two of smoking, I actually really miss it. Now being a daily smoker with a tolerance, I don't get the munchies even a little bit anymore.
