Cannabutter crockpot smell

Discussion in 'Weed Edibles' started by MikeFranklet, Feb 2, 2012.

  1. Hey. So my friend gave me a crockpot he doesn't need after I helped him move.
I also have some crappy mids because my dealer was out of everything else, and they're really not pleasant to smoke.
    So, cannabutter.

Question is not how to make it -- I'm sure there are plenty of threads on how to make it in a crockpot -- but will it smell up my house? I have 5 roommates, so it can't stink the place up of weed. Anyone have experience with making cannabutter in a crockpot on the 'warm' setting?

    Thanks

I made my first batch of budder in my basement.
I now make every batch in my garage...

Depending on the quantity you are making it can be mild or very strong.
My first batch (in my basement) yielded ~ 1 lb (4 sticks) of budder, and I made it overnight.
It took almost a full day to completely air out my 2 story 1,700 sq/ft house. :(
