I'm thinking of growing the seedlings out in a soilless mix until they are big enough to transplant into the aero unit.

I don't mean to be a buzz kill dude, but all my attempts at incorporating fog into my otherwise very successful grows have failed, and i venture to guess, by looking at your setup and having made something with its design flaws already, that your temps are way over 74F in the root zone area to be? Hope i'm wrong and i wish you much success, but that's def something you'll need to deal with if not. Even when i got temps low enough i still didn't have much success in the fog, and if your foggers are anything like mine they make whats called dry fog, particles in the 5-10 micron range, which i fear is too small to adequately saturate new clippings, at least in my testing. Most who have success with fog have there roots in the res solution, which offers it's own draw backs.
Thanks for all the advice, i really appreciate it when people share and make things easier for noobs like me. I knew what issues i was going to be dealing with before hand, a little while ago i watched a vid on the setup NASA is running, it was detailed enough and it mentioned the temp and what not. I also read up earlier that the fogmakers heat the water up so i ended up getting the chiller at a local pet store. If theres anything else i might of missed that you can catch on the pics let me know!!!

If that's the case, couldn't you simply get some pink construction styrofoam and make a float for them? That way when the water moved, they'd move with it. You could just cut 2 holes in the styro, and push those units into it.
Does that seem.... applicable?
