I wasn't sure I would ever be back doing this again, but here I am. I love growing, I absolutely cannot stay away!

For anyone who has followed my previous grows, I have exclusively done stealth CFL cabinet grows. This is because (against my better judgment and my own recommendations to others) I decided to grow Cannabis in the same house I share with my wife, who was unawares and not a cannabis smoker herself. My grows absolutely had to be low cost and 100% stealth.

Beyond all of my wildest hopes and dreams my wife actually initiated smoking cannabis with me after a friend offered to sell us some cannabis . She enjoyed the experience (of course?), but was quickly disheartened when we ran out of the small amount we had purchased. I suggested that we grow our own, which she thought was quite impossible. I ensured her that it wasn't, and got the okay to buy some seeds and start a wife approved grow :hello:

We purchased royalty for this grow: Green House Seeds Super Lemon Haze (Feminized). They were fairly expensive, especially for only 4 seeds, but ultimately worth it. I went feminized this time because my 2nd grow of 3 NL #5 plants turned up all male plants  :confused_2:

I only intended to germinate one seed but my wife pushed for 2 in case one didn't turn out. She was right, they both germinated, but one of them was quite the wispy runt. I culled it in the end so I could pool my resources for the one healthy, strong, remaining plant.

The cabinet I had custom built and used in my two previous grows was destroyed by my own hands after the 2nd grow. I was regretful for being dishonest and did not want it to be discovered because I would not be able to explain it away. I don't regret the decision to destroy it, but I had put a lot of love into it and I sure do miss it :(

This time I intended to build a bigger, better cabinet. However, after further consideration I decided a cabinet grow would be pointless since I have nothing to hide this time. I have a great area to use for the grow and it can be right out in the open now.

The grow itself started back in November. I am a few weeks into flowering now, but I have taken a lot of pictures along the way.

I did not intend to "veg" for this long (over 2 months) but I had some problems with light leaks since I am using an entire room for growing, vs. a sealed cabinet. I worked out the light leak issues and am about 2 weeks into flowering.

Anyway, I know why you are really here....pictures!!

I will start from the beginning and work my way forward to today. Enjoy!

PREFLOWERS!!

These showed up before I went 12/12. In my early days I didn't realize it was possible to determine sex before 12/12, but if the plant is "veg'd" long enough, if it is old enough, it will show preflowers before 12/12.

This is about 40 days into the grow.

Glad to help my friend!

Raw yield weight from a CFL is not usually real impressive, but it seems to last just as long as the same amount of the heavy stuff. This is confusing to explain, but I have learned it through experience!

Thanks again for stopping by! :hello:

Hey azure! I have a question man

I got super lemon haze too! But!
I only have one 150 watt HPS bulb with a built in reflector. Is this sufficient for the
Lemon haze strain? Because I know lemon haze grows quite tall.

I'm afraid that once it gets tall, it will only get bud on the top section of the plant.

Should I do lst? Or maybe top/topping my plant when it's young and then LST? Make it grow out sideways somehow instead of straight up so my one light can penetrate it all?

Help! Aha. Thank you :) and your plant looks beautiful by the way.
