I just picked up 10 bags of black gold cause my local shop was out of basement mix by royal gold in humbolt county. I will tell you what I think soon as I transplant and pull. I can swear by basement mix (that is if you didn't get a hot bag which happens sometimes when they get to antsy to put out a batch). Very pores and doesnt dry up as fast as tuper/peet moss. I stand by royal gold tuper for winter, and royal gold basement mix for summer especially if you use liquid fertilizers (not to be confused with "black gold") , but my buddy uses black gold for some great looking crops.
