The Blues Thread

Hello friends, I've decided to make this thread about a kind of music that I love, since all the other blues threads I've found ended up failing after half a dozen posts or so. I should clarify, I'm not talking about Eric Clapton and his rich white-guy blues, I'm refering to the authentic American blues, mostly of Southern origin.

Any one down for some hank 3? How about getting drunk and falling down? Any song off of the rebel within really. Not sure what genre it is but it could be its own kinda blues. (at least i tried helping this thread out) Not sure how to post a you tube vid so you do it lol:confused:

I do love me some Blind Willie J. He's the only one I've found that can rival Son House in the intensity of his slide playing. Even Robert Johnson could never match them. I finally got around to purchashing Willie's Complete Recordings a few days ago.

Blues band was playing at the restaurant i work at tonight. After it settled down i started talking to the bass player and told him i had the same bass and if i could play his real quick. bust out some blues licks and they asked me to sit in for a song. So fun
