When do you plan on planting outside?
And what have you added to the soil there , if anything ?
Well done , site preparation is a bit of wrk :)

I plan to plant in the end of Feb.
lol alot of site work to go. Honestly its not as hard as it looks.
I clear about 10'x10' area per day. Its very therapeutic:D
Im going to be using the soil as is and will just supplement it as needed.
The soil actually looks great and I shouldnt need to do much
My grow is in a very remote location so it would be extremely tough to bring in my own soil and other materials.

This is my first time growing in natural soil so its going to be interesting
dealing with the bugs and stuff.
I will be buying some more seeds to mix things up

Mad !
Are you starting the seedlings off indoors or just gonna go straight out :)?
I don't know about the temps in your area but just make sure you don't plant out too early or they stunt their growth and piss you off haha :)

That's good you enjoy doing the work involved !
So do I , all working towards something :)
Remote area is good , so you can't take in a bag of manure ?
I use these pellets in a bucket called dynamic lifter to amend the natural soil ,
Works pretty well but not sure if you have that where you are.

But yeah good work mate I'm subbed for sure !
Good luck with it all :)

Yes im starting my seedlings inside on two 2' 25 watt CFLs.
I'll be adding a HID light in the next week or so.
My grow is surrounded by alot of dense 5-8 feet high vegitation.
I do about half of the way in and out crawling through small animal
trails. So im afraid hauling in large items is impossible.
My friends and I have been joking that I need a Call of Duty care package
type of thing lol.
Anyways ill check my local hydro store for those dynamic lifter amendments
you spoke about.
Thx for the advice

Haha good stuff !
It will be good watching everyone else grow while I'm harvesting !!
The dynamic lifter might be only in Australia but they would have some
Similar pellet things at your nursery or hardware store I'm sure :)
Is it just bag seed you were gonna grow ?

no these are seeds from my earlier harvest
Yes the seedlings I have now are from bag seeds.
I was told it was an Afghan kush strain but im not too sure.
Thats why im getting seeds soon so I can know what to expect from the plants.
I was just really excited to grow this year and I wont be able to get my Hydroponics going until I find the Mobile home im looking for.

Anyways you suck for living in Australia I bet its beautiful
and I hear alot of Asians live there... Asians with tans OMG im jealous lol

yes i checked the ph it was about 6.
Once I clear enough space for 50 plants or so i'll start to amend the soil.
I try yo limit my visits to the hydro shop, so i'll go when I can buy a few things at once.
How much space should I have between each plant? Im thinking of buying an Ind/sat hybrid.. not sure about pure sativas in this climate.
I was thinking about 3 feet or so.I hope this is enough room.
Is that far enough?

I'd give them as much space as you can ,
Your much better off having say 25 big bushy plants rather than 50 lanky ones competing for light , your yeild will be much better with the bushes :)
Also people that I've seen grow this way build up little mounds and plant in-between them so the water runs down to the plants and none is wasted so maybe try that :)

Hey with watering do you have something nearby to get water from ?
And you definantly weren't gonna have a fence were you ? Where I am without a fence they get eaten in a day by rabbits or wallabies (kangaroos) or aliens .
Nice job so far and looks like your weathers been pretty good too !

This will be my first time growing in natural soil
like this so im not sure how to space them really.
I heard 3 feet squared is best and another said 2 feet squared.
How much space do you provide for your plants?

Posted Image
this is my idea for how i plan to plant them.
Sry for the crude picture edits.
I want to put them in a zig zag so no light is lost.
3 rows of 10 maybe more if i can put them closer together.

As far as animal security i was going to get chicken wire
and cover the whole area.
Hope fully its not too expensive.

haha nice diagram man :)
Looks good to me, 3 feet square is pretty good they will fill it in though.
The zigzag is a good idea too !
One tip, dont leave any rubbish there or people/choppers might spot it.

I had chicken wire fencing done pretty well and somehow the rabbits got in underneath it so maybe try have it like 5cm under the ground just to be safe :)
Looks like a nice area and should get lots of sun.
My plants are at least 5+ feet away most of the time :)
Good work so far man

lol that bush is like 9 feet tall i have been avoiding it like the plague.
I was going to take it down eventually.
That was just my lunch i always pack out my trash lol even the cigarette buts.
3 feet apart sounds good. So far my grow is 72 feet long and 10 feet wide
So 3x3 should be just fine.
Taking a break today to buy some supplys
Organic Veg nutes
Roots organic soil
Cloning gel
Rockwool cubes
3-25W CFLs and 1-125W CFL bulb
also a few small tools

It was a Kush and white rhino strain So I was told.
I turned out beautiful. That was my first DWC/drip attempt.
We ended up with 20 plants and about 8 lbs Harvested.
I didnt grow them very tall because we only had the 5 -1k lights
but the quality was amazing.
