Vanilla visa card and attitude

I found a vanilla visa gift card at walgreens. I read that people have used them on attitude but I read on their website that they only work in the us and district of colombia. Can anyone help me out here? And please dont say just use a normal cc.

What does the print on the card say? It should say on the card if you can use it for international purchases. If there is a phone number on the card try calling and asking.

The printing said nothing about inernational purchases but it also didnt say only for use in the us.

Do a search there was a thread on Vanilla cards not to long ago on here. Might have the answer to your question.

Yeah I know he added a pic wasn't sure if it was the same one you found. If the card has a # give it a call and see. Other wise it's kind of a tough call since there so many of those type of cards now.

Ya i saw that exact one but i think i saw someone say they got that one but it didnt work. Im considering just using cash or a money order. But i rather use the pre paid

why not just buy the card and try it? and if it doesn't work just use the card for gas or groceries or whatever its not like its a loss of money directly if it doesn't work. but curious to know if this works as well, cheers

thats what i was thinking too but i just wanted to see if anyone had good results with it. I wanted to find out if it would work cause if it didnt then i could just use the money i would have put on the card to just send cash.

It doesn't work I tried recently a big problem is in certain us states you need to sign for your order or post office will hold and you have to go there and display ID so using a prepaid or different name doesn't always work just so you know I had no luck with vanilla visa it wants the name on the card and it's weird

Did you try both debit and credit?

dont get gold packaged vaniila giftcard it does not work

to be safe read everything I could find online, and was still left a little confused.

Called Vanilla Visa and asked if the cards I bought can be used for overseas online purchases.
The helpful lady says that wont be a problem aslong as I register the card.
Had to provide:
Name
Addy
and D.O.B.
these could have been fictionalized, Im sure the only one that matters is the address matches the billing address at purchase.

all there was to it she assured me everything is good to go.
Remember they charge 2.5% for currency exchange on top of your charges and a 6.50 activation fee at the drugstore when the card was purchased.
