Hey all, just got a quick question.
Are you able to use multiple VPNs at the same time?
So lets say I'm using VyperVPN which is paid for. I connect to that, would I then be able to connect to a free VPN like Hamachi, or Open VPN. Would this work? I know it would take a hit to my internet speed, but my mb/s isn't a problem. Also lets say after I connect to Vyper-->Open, would I be able to go Vyper--->Open--->TOR??

Thanks. I know you can use a VPN and then TOR, but could you use all three of the things listed above in combination?

EDIT: Also can anyone recommend a good VPN?
I'm thinking of getting hide my ass, or VyperVPN.

Also post pictures of the little dogs I choose to have buttsecks with.

You know, the usual.

Maybe I misunderstand what you're getting at. For what you are trying to do, something like OpenVPN would not work. I'm pretty sure the routing would be impossible.

When people use hosted VPNs for anonymity, it helps because all of their web traffic appears to come from the VPN hosting provider.

Solutions like OpenVPN, however, run on your own equipment and Internet circuit.

Let's say you configured it as you intend. Here is what would happen when you try to send data to Google.com:

-Data is encrypted
-Data is sent over the hosted VPN tunnel to the VPN hosting provider
-Data is decrypted
-Data is encrypted
-Data is sent over your personal VPN tunnel back to your home
-Data is decrypted
-Data still needs to go to Google.com...except oops...all of your Internet traffic is routed through the hosted VPN tunnel so you are starting the whole loop over again.

However to answer the original simple question of "can you use multiple VPNs at the same time?", yes you can. Each VPN is blind to the other VPNs so you could bounce from site to site all over VPN. So instead of OpenVPN combined with a hosted VPN you could simply bounce between a few hosted VPNs.
