The laptop I'm getting will have 5.9, only because of the hard drive.
If it had a better hard drive, would have around a 7.

Stuck at 5.9 because that's the highest rating a mechanical hard drive can get. The rest of my scores are all 7.3 though

My new build windows rating is:

CPU: 7,3 (AMD FX6100 6 Core at 3,3Ghz)
RAM: 7,5 (8Gb DDR3 1600mhz running at 1333mhz)
Graphics: 7,8 & 7,8 (nVidia GTX470)
HD: 7,8 (64Gb SSD disk for system disk)

It was built on the principle that performance is important (must run BF3 at high settings with good framerate), but price matters. So the entire build did not cost much at all. About the same as a cheap but decent brand laptop.

That said, I did reuse some parts. Like the case, a 580W PSU and the graphics card.

Asus Maximus IV Gene-Z Z68 Mobo
8GB G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 1866 Mhz
HD 6870 1GB
Crucial M4 128GB SSD
Intel Core i5 2500k

The Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO is an amazing CPU Cooler, my i5 cores are running at 25c.

My friend bought one for my old computer which I sold to him which has an e8400 Wolfdale dual core, new thermal paste plus that = -30 degrees off cpu temps

GPU @ 30c

Overall the case has great airflow, nice and quiet.
