Hi everybody, Mclovin here. I didn't see any threads pertaining to this and I think that this is a fairly important thing, at least to me. So I decided to create a thread about how to be fit and to smoke weed and have fun as well. I truly believe someone can be very fit and still a stoner at the same time. I'm pretty ripped myself and I smoke weed regularly. I basically just compiled tips from my and others personal experience. And i'm aware there is probably a health and fitness section of the forums, but I don't think this would really be at home there. So first, here is some tips on the munchies. This part of the thread is simply detailing how to not let munching out completely ruin your nutrition and turn you into a saggy couch stoner. If you do not get the munchies then just disregard this part of the thread. 1) Make your smoking coincide with mealtimes. This way, you don't end up taking in tons of calories and fat at a time when you usually don't. For example, If I'm planning to indulge at the seafood place near my house, I wil smoke a bowl before than, as opposed to at night or in the middle of the afternoon, where all the intake of food while just go straight into fat reserves. If you can't smoke before a mealtime, like your going to a family dinner or something, there are still some more things you can do 2) Healthy munchie foods. This is very difficult to find, considering the fact that your body craves sugar and fats when your blazed. But here are a couple that I find are good and healthy: Apples-The vibrant sweet taste of apples is actually quite satisfying while high, and they have natural sugars in them, and while those don't compare at all to the amount of sugar you would get from say a chocolate bar, it is still pretty nice Oranges-much like apples, these taste good, are juicy (always fun to have juicy foods while high) and have natural sugars as well Bananas-These are literally just carbs, so you can shovel down a ton and pretty much have no fat or calories entering your system. They also have a very satisfying aroma especially while stoned. Sandwiches-Subs or other sandwiches are very good and can also be good for your body as well, as long as you make them healthy. Put some tasty sauces and veggies on it as well as some good meat like roast beef and it is like an orgasm in your mouth. Subway can be very good as they are not too fatty if you make them right and are very tasty as well. Smoothies-Make these beforehand, so that after your high you can take a sip of this. Smoothies are so good when high that I would drink them even if i wasn't worried about my fitness. The mix of fruits can be amazing. There are many simple recipes online, and i would suggest ones that have blueberries or strawberries as both taste very good blended. Smoothies can also be quite filling. Cereal-Many cereals have plenty of fiber and can make great snacks. Just stay away from the super sugary ones. Personally, I love mini wheats while lifted. Oatmeal-similar to cereal, this tastes very good with yogurt, pecans and berreis mixed in and provide great ballast, keeping you full and hearty for a long time. Make it before you are blazed tho, you will not be able to make it effectively at all and you will probably burn yourself if you do. Exotic Fruits-This includes many fruits that are outside of the typical blueberrie apple banana spectrum. For example, dragonfruits are FANTASTIC while blazed and good for you as well. I love kiwi as well, the sweet sour tast is also amazing. Vegan or healthy versions of unhealthy food-These are basically those low fat recipes that turn cupcakes or cookies into much less harmful than they usually are. I suggest these if you want to be shovelling sugarey stuff into your system but don't want to ruin your whole week of nutrition with it. If you do end up overindulging on food that is not at all good for your body, don't lose your shit over it. Just make sure you eat healthy in the future and do something to compensate for it, Like go for a run or do some pushups or situps or something. The last thing I am going to cover is how to put the pot in your system without having to damage your lungs or throat too much. While weed smoke is probably the least harmful type of smoke there is, it still has dangers. I have heard it can lower your lung intake capacity from 95-100 (the percent for a typical healthy person) to as low as 80-85 percent. This can be pretty tough if you are a swimmer or runner or do lots of cardio fitness. So here are my suggestions on it. Avoid joints/blunts-I'm aware people loving rolling fat spliffs and take nice long drags on them. I am not gonna deny that having a burning J in your hand is awesome. And if you really want to, go ahead but be aware of the risks, and don't smoke them too often. The reason I'm going after these smoking methods is because when you roll up your weed and smoke it, not only are you taking in the slightly harmful weed smoke, but also the burning paper smoke from the rolling paper. Even though rolling paper is meant to be smoked, it still is more harmful than just taking weed tokes. And blunt wraps are the worst for your lungs, compared to cigarettes or something like that they aren't too bad, but everybody who's smoked a blunt before knows that they are harsh and cause burning lungs and coughing fits. If you can, also avoid pipes and one hitters and chillums as well. They are a step up from Jays, but they aren't super great either. This is because you are taking in pure weed smoke, with all its tar and toxins that come in the smoke. you then end up exposing your lungs to all these harsh chemicals which can make them sore and painful when you work out or do physical activity in the future. 2) If you are going to smoke, use a bong or some kind of device where the smoke is filtered in some way. This means lots of the tar and toxins get trapped in the water and most of the tasty THC is all that makes it too your mouth. While bong hits may feel harsher, they are most certainly healthier, as it only takes 3-5 seconds for your lungs to absorb the smoke from a bong hit, meaning you don't have to hold it in as long, and also the water and filters prevent much of the grody stuff from making it to your respiratory system. Also, bong hits are more efficient anyways. I heard with a joint or pipe you can get as little as only 28% of the THC in your pot into your lungs from them, While with a bong you get at least 75-80% of the THC into your lungs. 3) However the most efficient way and the healthiest to get pot into your system is by far to just not smoke it at all. I am talking edibles or vaping. The above tips I made simply if you love smoking or don't have time or resources to invest in baking or vaping your pot. Both of these methods have literally no damaging effects on your lungs, as edibles don't even touch them and vaping is just like intaking hot air. And these methods get you VERY VERY high. Your liver processes way more THC than your lungs so when you eat it you get fuck all high. And vaping gets like 95-99 % of the THC out of the weed so you end up wasting like nothing and getting clean tokes. Firecrackers are a conveniant, easy recipe you can make pot in that can take only half an hour if made efficiently. My favorite and most efficient recipe is this one for firecrackers: Cannabis.com. And you can get an easy conveniant vape in the form of MLFB, a portable small vaporizer that works great. Hopefully this guide will help at least a few stoners stay fit and enjoy their weed at the same time. Also, I put a ton of work into this, so please bump or rep it because I do want people to know about these.

I think you'll eat pretty much anything once the munchies hit, so if you only keep healthy snacks in your living area you'll end up eating those. my tip... smoke a sativa and exercise.
