Vaporizer Comparison Help

Discussion in 'Vaporizers' started by Ziellos, Dec 24, 2011.

  1. I have a $30-$100 limit, preferably around $50. I do not want a portable one that uses batteries nor do I want a pipe one, so no genie, launchbox, or anything like that please.

I understand most of the ones on Amazon are made with cheap materials, however, I've used them before and they're as good as any other vaporizer, most of them include warranties too.

So I'd appreciate if someone could help me choose out of 5 of these vaporizers or any other one within my price range, I wanted to get one before Christmas but all my local headshops only have ones over $100 or ones that are like $50 on amazon but they re-sell for double the price..

I really can't decide between those and again, I know most of them aren't amazing but they'll last me long enough to save up in a few months and get one for $300-500 range.

I think some of them are better than the others, due the glass parts instead of plastic and one of them including a decent metal grinder too. I've been smoking for a long time and I really just want to start trying out vapes and this is my target price range, super tired of 1 hitters, bongs, and bowls. I also got some oil, can I smoke oil in this?

If I can I'd rather smoke oil in this than buy all the glass pieces for my bong, that's like $200 just so I can smoke oil with my bong.

  2. first off you should just save up instead of buying those cheap china vapes cause they let off toxic fumes and second it should only cost around 70 to turn your bong into a oil smoking rig just grab either a ti skillet or vapor dome and a butane torch lighter and your set

I dreaded responses like these, I specifically stated I'm buying a temporary vaporizer that's cheap for the next few months, specifically one of those listed. Regarding fumes or packaging toxins, you simply let it run for 20 minutes on 400 when you first get. Regarding the plastic, only some of them have it and there's only a chance it could somewhat melt in the future, but I highly doubt it. I'd be buying replacement tubes or a fully glass one.

Please, no more comments like those. I just need help deciphering the best one out of those, or any other decent one on amazon or another site for around ~50

edit: regarding the oil, I'm buying glass roor pieces for my roor bong, so yeah it would cost a bit more =\ I was just asking if you could use oil with one of these, I know there are special vapes for oil, just not sure if you can use it with all of them.

    Update:

I've narrowed it down to these 3

[ame=http://www.amazon.com/Digital-Herbal-Vaporizer-Black-Vapor/dp/B004YHFOMY/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1324752626&sr=8-7]Amazon.com: Easy Use Vape Digital Herbal Vaporizer Black Vapor VP50: Kitchen & Dining[/ame]

This one comes with everything I need, mite get an extra whip, has good feedback too.

    [ame=http://www.amazon.com/Topoo-Herbal-aromatherapy-vaporizer-VP-100/dp/B0045TBL0U/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1324752626&sr=8-2]Amazon.com: Topoo Herbal & aromatherapy vaporizer VP-100: Kitchen & Dining[/ame]

This one is decent, I know it works well and I've even tested it myself, the temps are actually quite accurate with it.

This is an easy vape one with good reviews, comes with some glass pieces too.

So it's between one of those three, or some other random one if someone has an idea.

I believe with most of these you slowly increase from like 220/280-330/350 range and don't pull too hard, let it fill some. Decent vapes for under $100 from what I've read. They should also be fine after letting it run max temp when you first get for a little bit.

I'm unsure if you should let it start at like 250 and warm up for 10 minutes, load the weed and knock up to 320? smoke some then turn off? Just asking for some directions prior to buying. I've read I can just use it at around 300-350 then re use around 375 then re use again around 400 and it'll be done?

    edit

    or a vapor king?

  5. Can't really go wrong with a easy vape. I got mine here. I own a few high priced desktops and for $45 bucks this shit is a steal. Have fun.

  6. I got mine from eBay. Search for digital vaporizer. $37 shipped to my door. Worked fine for the past 6 months. It gets the job I need done. :smoke:

  7. Please spend the extra $20 and get a Magic Flight Launch Box. They are also on Amazon. Well made, just search around this site to see how sought-after and well-liked they are.

  8. They may be decent, but the shitty $30 one benefits me more. I don't want to have to deal with that battery BS constantly. I already bought it and it'll arrive wed. =\

I'll post a review of it then.

I have a cheap box vape that I bought just to see if vaping was my thing. It's actually the 4th one down on your original list. It works, but the temp gauge isn't accurate at all so it's a lot of trial and error trying to find the "sweet spot". Mine works best if I heat it up to 342 (not really this hot) degrees for about 10 minutes and then I can rip big clouds. It blows through weed...does not conserve well.

I just about got an Arizer Extreme Q so I'd have a nice desktop vape, but then I realized I wanted stealthiness, conservation of herb and portability more so I ordered the MFLB and it's arriving today! I like that the MFLB is portable first...but that it has a power adapter and water adapter now so it will be easy to steadily upgrade it to a solid vapor bong setup for when I'm home. I also hear that a quarter of herb lasts a long time with the MFLB.

  10. the revolt by viva la vape is a decent inexpensive desktop model
