  1. i can probs spend around 500 bucks on my set up out side what would you think of me doing this? ok so buy like 2 ounces of dank bud (midds) and take out the seeds. i have ALOT of land to grow on (guerilla growing). i purchased a growing bible on amazon, i was thinking of growing inside the ground and digging holes, or bring out plant pots..not really sure. which is best? what supplys do i need? i was thinking shovel, hoe, clippers, water barrels, gloves, fishing string to keep deer out, pest killer, (what would you recommend?) rubbing alcohol for harvest, scissors, seeds, of course... good soil, (what would you recommend) i also dont want to go over board on supplys for shit i dont need i plan on haveing around literally 100 plants or more. im doing this in the middle of no where. the rainfall here is very little we are in a drought. i also need to buy jars for curring, i can't dry my bud once its harvested because i dont own my own house so im going to dry my weed in the middle of this forrest on someone elses land which no one ever goes to i was going to purchase electric fans which run 40 hours on batterys. the shed is fairly big i imagin i could buy clothes lines pins and rope to dry my bud inside the shed without my buds produceing mold the humidity shouldnt be too bad. im going to plant my weed in patches also... so if one gets discovered they all wont get busted. how else could i dry my bud if i dont own a house? give me some tips & etc. thanks

  2. LOL, i'm starting to sound like a broken record with this one, but here goes:

If watering is an issue, you could consider water (aka polymer) crystals, this is the brand I'm using:

Yates Waterwise Water Storage Crystals - Yates products

Should cost <$10. Looks and sets like jelly - don't use too much!...no good growing in jelly! - all depends on how ur using it, but for a pot you're looking at about 1-2 tbsp TOPS. I like to put a layer of crystals deep down. If you put them in dry and then water, they will swell the soil up some.

    Good luck! :smoke:

  3. ^Marijuana enjoys drying out between waterings. Those crystals are good, but should only be used in very arid climates with little to no rain.

@OP....All I hear is bla bla bla, I've never grown before, bla bla bla, can you guys help, bla bla bla, I want over a hundred plants bla bla bla. DUDE WE'VE ALL HEARD IT BEFORE!!!

You're not going to be growing 100 plants because you don't even know how to grow one single fucking plant. Grow up kid, get a day job and smoke weed to enhance life, not take over your life.

  4. good call washedmothafuka....i'm definitely coming from a place where summer is very hot and there is fuck all rain...duly noted

sounding a bit jaded there dude!

I'm gonna check out your 2011 grow right now:smoke:

  5. Yeah, can't let cannabis be taking over my life. Thanks man! I'm quite proud of what I put together, From day 1 to harvest. I just think it's really cool you can look through a whole journal and learn from peoples mistakes before even starting to grow lol

i actually read that big text you typed and yeah 100 is not gonna happen.
Buy feminized seeds and grow a few. A full day spot yields 25 ozees per plant.
For drying use a tarp, (no need for fans outdoors duh!)
100 big plants would be spotted easily and mean too much watering and cloning or spnding lots on feminized and hauling a shit load of soil (+ the price of ferts and soil).
See Dankohzee's soil mix or mine under my signature. You need peat, perlite to make your soil. The cheapest nutrients are organic (manures, meals).
Be careful of males as 1 male plant can ruin all your bud. It doesn't seem like you know much (soil mix, seeds, drying) and wanting 100 shows you need to read, learn and be more realistic. Writing in paragraphs would also help.

  7. i would have to agree, im new to growing too. im gunna try to grow 1-3 (i figure 1-2 will be total failures haha). and learn from that... experience haha. maybe next year try 5.

  8. Do as I did. Spend months reading the different forums and grow journals. It was ALOT of reading but damn was it worth it. Now im ready for spring!

  9. Im intrigued, just lay out the buds on a tarp and cover it? u can dry this way if its not too humid? i always figured it had to be inside but that might not be an option this coming fall

  10. I would use some of that 500 to buy some decent feminized seeds, better than half your crop being male and not even knowing when its going to be ready.

They all should really, whats the point of growing an auto inside when you can just 12/12 after a few weeks and get the same effect?

    (Oops wrong topic lol)

  12. No, place a tarp 5 square feet or other depnding on your harvest) a few feet off the ground attached to some bushes and slanted so water runs off.
Place wires under the tarp. Hook up your bud branches on the wire. The dry spot is in the shade of course (no need for sun anymore).
Let dry for 1 or 2 weeks depending on humidity levels. Even if it rains, it won't matter, they'll dry out. Then place in the jars at home.

  13. I agree. 500 $ is not required... if you go for 10 plants and 8 of them produce budd you've done well.. This is your first grow and its not easy you cant just chuck a seed in the ground and sit back and get stoned!

You need some good quality seeds feminized and auto flowering I would suggest because you are a novice.

You need some good soil for 10 plants I'd say get 10 bags you need 10 small pots and 10 larger pots so that when your plants start to get bigger you re pott them.

Your growing outdoors you need to be able to water you plants and bring them water on a regular basis.

Look at other forum posts guides journals and tips, wild life can eat all of your plants in the vegetation stages so mantis and ladybugs could be a good investment as they live side by sided and will kill off predators.

Get soil with traces of limestone and similar nutrients a soil that has the wrong type of PH can result in your plant not producing.

There's some basic advice and I hope it expands your mind and helps you with what you want to achieve... first grow use low ryders auto flowering so it takes 2 months from seed if you do 10 and everything works out you'll have a shit load of budd because your growing knowledge seems to be limited.. when your plants start budding then come back to us and ask about drying... growing is what you need to focus on for now!

  14. thanks a lot corto
