60 Things NOT To Do If You Hate The Free Market

  1. I dont hate the free market, but without regulations people can become more powerfull then the government itself. Do you think they would give a fuck about any of us, or care more about there money? there has to be a balance between capitalism and socialism. eather one by itself ends with a all powerfull leader who can do whatever he or she wants. And dont ask me to explain what this "balance" is because if i knew I wouldent be working at subway.

  2. Sorry this is just the only place I get my news, and I went to someone's house the other day to watch regular news, and realized all of the sudden that the vast majority of people posting political jokes here literally have no concept of what the world is really like. Man I miss college.

And I do hate paying taxes. In spite of my incredible work ethic, I've been able to get back more than I've paid in so far almost every year for the last 10 or so. Good stuff really.

  5. You do realize that the antitrust laws themselves protected the interests of big business rather then kept them from becoming too powerful?

In effect, any company could be charged with being a monopoly for having prices too high, prices too low, and prices too similar to their competitors. Basically the law is worded so loosely that it in effect could be applied to any business.

Aren't drug sales a black (therefore unregulated) market?
If you hate the free market, stop buying weed.[/quote]

    grow it.

  7. Don't sell it, lest you be participating in a free market. Don't buy fertilizer, soil, grow lights, etc.

  8. Im talking about a single person, not "the people" as in everyone.

  9. If a single person reaches this status in a free market, its because the people have voted for them with their dollars.

  10. thats not the point im trying to make. Alot of people who want "free market" dont want any regulations because any type of regulation is "evil socialiam". Its kinda hard for me to type out my views on this stuff, much easier to talk.......before I run myself into a hole im just gunna cut my losses and stay in the apprentice forum haha :)

  11. ^The only way to get better at articulating yourself is to try. :)

  12. Before you run off, you might want to read about the history of big government and big business. Rather then competitors, they are partners in pillaging.

    Big Business and Big Government

Also, in the free market you don't get bailed out by the government, you make crappy products, you go bankrupt.

  13. or they became rich enough to buy lobbiests to get whatever they want

  14. What good is a lobbyist if the government doesn't have the power to create regulations for the highest bidder?

  15. wall street?

  16. Lobbyists are a void subject, because in a true free market government doesn't/can't intervene with regulations/laws.

  17. Read the article I gave you, it shows how time and time again throughout history that big business grows hand in hand with big government to maintain it's dominance over the market, rather then big government step in and do any trust busting.

The intentions are good, but the end result always gives more power to big business.

  18. I see. I was bacing my view on America, But I see your point.

  19. This is what they are doing now, because regulation makes this possible.

if the market were free, those positions which can be bought and sold don't exist.

What would be the good in buying wall street?
