Advice on Root Rot

My question is should I scrap the plant and start over or will I be able to recover the plant enough to harvest it? The older leaves are yellow and crispy however the newer growth actually looks very healthy. Also how long should I treat the plant with the H2O2 and Hormex before I begin to introduce nutrient back into the system?

I cut down the plants, swabbed some rootech cloning gel on them and stuck them in some coco... one out of 4 lived and rooted...
the other thing to note is that it took way longer for the full plant to root and recover as it did to germinate new seeds. and it turned out to be male.
IMHO scrap it and try again.

I guess you'll have to look at them & see how they're reponding & see if they are bad bad & just sorta bad. =) Mine were not autoflower- so I had a significant amount of time already invested.

Ok, after cleaning the reservoir and using the Hormex and Hydrogen Peroxide the roots are beginning to look much better. My plant's older leaves are solid yellow and seem dead but if I push aside the yellow outer leaves, the newer growth near the center of the plant is green as could be so I think I'm going to continue to try and salvage the plant. So when should I introduce the nutrients back into the solution?
Good luck. Peroxide has to be used throughout the entire grow once started. It's def not a great fix and you'll find yourself frustrated quickly as the rot comes right back.

Wise words. And the stuff gets EXPENSIVE. If you do the DIY Clear Rez solution you will pay less money for a more effective and faster acting fix. However if using organic additives DO NOT use the DIY Clear Rez as it "destroys organic contaminates"

I've not used the DIY Clear Rez but I'm currently using the beneficial bacteria. My girls were more dead then alive 10 days ago. Now they are little bushes.

Oh yes the beneficials are a wonder in any system be it soil or hydro or aero. They attack bad bacteria and help with nutrient uptake along the roots and are completely symbiotic with your plants. A true miracle of nature.
