so I just got a bong from a friend that looks extremely similar to this it has bob marley on it and for some reason I feel like it would look much cleaner if it were either all polished glass or all frosted or sandblasted, whatever its called. so basically is there any way I can polish the glass so it will have a clean shiny black finish to it? or frost it so there is no more symbols in it?
You could theoretically just polish the hell out of it to make it all gloss. The only real way to get rid of it would be to flame polish the whole tube, but you would need a blower to do it, and you would still risk having it shatter in the process. Sandblasting is exactly what it sounds like...blasting the tube with sand at a high speed. It would be hard to sandblast it at home, but there may be some way to rig up some way to do it, but I doubt it would be worth the effort and mess. I don't think either way would look particularly good, and I would probably just leave it as it is, or sell it and get a new tube.
