    Though i would honestly want some more reggae if you could do that that'll be great
     
  7. Hes not talking about dubstep brother. Dub is reggae that is "remixed" by an engineer. Stripping certain instruments and bringing them back in as need be, adding delay, and reverbs to certain instruments throughout the song, other effects such as phasers are used often. its a very spacy, kind of psychdelic, spiritual sound. All of this is done live on a console in and is recorded directly to tape/hard disk, so the engineer is basically playing the console and effects as an instrument. this is where dubstep and most electronic music gets its roots.

  9. Ahh! so jealous! once i have the money i'm definitly going to get a player and start collecting dub records. Rebelution released a new song yesterday....what a let down. looks like the acoustic album is gonna be where its at.

  12. I was in the blue mountain area in Jamaica taking a cab somewhere and the driver picked up this lady(Kim Kartina). She slips her CD into the deck and starts going at it. It blew my mind, I am riding through the mountains with some Jamaican herb in my body while this woman is preforming in the back seat to her record.

  17. I believe he said it was dancehall, not reggae. I'm just an ignorant white guy though.

    this is one of my fave reggae tunes of ALL time. their harmonies are wonderful.
