Im new to your forum but have used some of the other ones over the last few years but had to come say hi after I found some of ReggieG's Aussie grows
After looking around at the rest of the Aussie and non Aussie grows i realised this is the place to be
Hope you enjoy, judging by last years grow i expect this one to turn out pretty well !!
Been growing for around 6 years successfully but everything i have learnt is going into this years grow, its gonna be a good one so stick around especially any other fellow southern hemisphere growers
Im trying a few strains given to me by people this year, and plan on making some new crosses to keep the genetics going.
So a few weeks in ill start with some pics .
Good to be here!!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Holes were dug a few months prior to planting, filled with high grade soils, mosses, manures, worm castings and other good stuff then some had various mulches added.
Seeds were germinated and grown for at least 2 weeks indoors and planted out around the beggining of spring here.
Usually i would have waited a few weeks longer but weather this year seemed to be okay and the strains are all fairly tough
As you can see, i used bottles as greenhouses for a while then when they outgrew the greenhouses i chopped off the top and left the bottle there for extra resistance against animals and pests
May need to remove bottles towards harvest to avoid mold or stem rot, and the fences around the plants are around 50cm high (with larger fences not in pic - Rabbits are feral round here)

First up - my mutant strain KALASHNIKOVA
I think its a fairly new/unstable strain as most of my seedlings grew leaves in sets of 3 instead of twos... but going alright so far

PHOTO 2 - Week 6 - the mutant got mauled by rabbits, he was 50cm but this is his sister (about 40cm)
