Not sure if it's been said, but you can disable geotagging on your smartphone to hide your location when using the phone's camera.
The best way is to have a legal grow in a legal or medical state. I would not be tripping, just try to not give out too much personal info and its safe, Cops cant chase down every boob with a closet full of lights.
I use a proxy/ secure connection on mobile with Tor app when using GC app on phone. On my pc i use Tor browser. Helps keep things more secure and private not 100% private but much harder and longer to track you. If I recall correctly, someone on Reddit's /r/microgrow got busted a bit ago for their grow journal. Personally, even though I don't grow anymore, it's not worth the hassle or risk. If you're going to do a journal, some tips: - Use a screen name unique to that site. - Don't use your phone's camera (I believe someone mentioned this on already) - Strip the EXIF data from JPEGs before uploading. - Never take a photo that has other things that could identify your home (stuff in the background, etc) - Never show your hands or face (obviously) in any photo. - If you're super 'noided about getting your online traces followed, use a VPN. - Or.. do what you're supposed to do, keep your mouth shut (or, in this case, your fingers) and your grow to yourself.
