Disc Golf: The Perfect Stoner Sport

Discussion in 'All Sports' started by TheElcinator, Oct 20, 2011.

  1. Seriously, It's laid back, there's no running or heavy exertion, and tons of courses I've been to are weed friendly.

My cousin got me into it, and I've been having a blast. It's so casual, but you're actually getting some exercise. Its a great way to spend time, chill, toke out and play a game.

  3. Been doin this for atleast 15 years as far as i can remember! Disc on and always a smoke break on hole 9!

  4. where the hell are disc golf courses? shit's not very common around here..

  5. Dude it really Is a stoner sport. Just about every time i go I end up matching a bowl with a complete stranger. Great way to meet fellow stoners.

  6. I never heard of it until I started working at walgreens. The one I work at sells the discs, and people come here all the time to buy them, especially since there's a course just down the street. I wanna try it out one day.

Just look them up on google. You'd be surprised. I had no idea there were any courses in my area. Turned out there are at least four.

You really should. Gets to be expensive if you play at a course with a lot of water along the sides. Easy to lose disks.

  9. I lost it when i read that you always do a smoke break on hole 9, because me and my friend do that all the time!:smoke:

  10. disc golf is great.. we have 3 courses where i live.. its one of the rare places you can feel completely comfortable smoking in public

  11. Lots of courses in the south. We have one in huntsville alabama that was established 1976... Brehan Springs park. It's a giant pine tree forrest and it's small enough to make 18 baskets on a lunch break. Might meet some of you out there!

  12.  I hate to bump such an early reply. You should definitely check out the Inverness/Hoover course that they have. Once of the guys that works there is seriously pro ! He will give people tips and tricks. It really was an eye opener for me when I last went. I live in Alabaster and the veteran park course is brand new and isnt too shabby. Plus its only 3 miles from my house. Its been sooooo windy lately though haha.
