I ordered some seeds and thought since everybody loves an outdoor grow and most everybody is freezing to death it might be cool to do an outdoor grow that runs in the winter.:hello:
So here it is!:D
I am gonna have 3 plants cause I really have no clue what I am doing and wanna be able to pay close attention!
I am running them in 10# smart pots. But when I read what some people yielded in these I am thinking maybe I should have gotten bigger ones?:confused_2::eek::confused_2:
I am planning to set up my pots today or tomorrow and if you have any advice I will love to hear it. :)
I am thinking I may try to go organic at least to start and then if they are screaming for something I will give it to em? That a good idea?
Thanks for looking!:yay:

organic potting soil good quality

30 percent perlite

10 percent peatmoss

ADVANCED NUTRIENTS mother earth super tea grow and bloom

AN's super tea is 100 perent orgnaic and you can use it as your base nutes or as a additive. i suggest also getting bud candy, bigbud, ph up and down. use distilled water. or if tap water let it sit out for atleast 2 days before use

more perlite in starter cups for seedlings

Welcome and thanks for subbing in! Nice to meet you:wave:
The base of the soil I am using contains those things I was meaning more like amendments? Sorry I should have clarified:o
We have big bud and all the FF line as that is what tom uses on the plants now. I am really hoping I might not have to use those things? A few of the strains I chose say they do well with nothing but water?:confused_2: I am not depending on that being the case but I would be so happy if it were the case!:hello:

SKY! pulling up a chair :)
Nice strains ya got going :) bet ya can't wait.

:hello: Nice to see you here! Welcome:yay:
I totally can not wait. In fact let me go and check my order thing maybe it has new info?:bolt:

 Welcome Buzzbomb Babycake:yay: Glad you like the new journal! I can't get my dirt out of the car. It is 10cubic feet compressed:eek:
So I am gonna need him to get it upstairs for me:D Not sure if he will have time though today?:confused_2:
Yep I am thinking of ways I can set it up to be able to still Ph test em? Cause on the ground i don't think I will be able to reach em for long? Do you PH test?

don't spend alot on big pots and soil cause they won't grow very big in the winter 5 gallon is big enough

Welcome and nice to meet you:wave: I think covered they should do about the same in the winter. It is very small difference in weather from summer to winter?

the violator kush sounds good. so does the critical sensi.

 GE it is great to have you here! :hello:(people who don't know GE he is my friend who has an aquaponics thread I have been in for a long time. They do great work there and him and donedeal are wonderful people:D. If you are curious about it you should check it out!:hello:)

 Welcome to my journal! Nice to meet you; though I think we have crossed paths somewhere:confused_2: Either way, it is good to have you here!

Subbed ;) Let's get this show on the road!

:yay: Ozzy! Welcome:hello:
Hopefully the show will be getting set up tonight? I am still trying to find exactly what I wanna put in my soil mix? I am not gonna use bone or blood meal even though they have done well for our food crops? Right now I have to stay away from those cause I can't run the risk of getting attacked by fire ants:eek:
So I am thinking lime (which I have not used and don't know how to use:eek:), bat guano, worm castings and I may see if my IMO is ready yet? I am hoping it has not turned into a big ant bed? I treated the area really well?
I just have not found a soil recipe around here that uses those 3 things for me to see how much they used and what the results were?:confused::confused::confused:
Bueller, Bueller...Anybody:rolleyes:

Good soil, ewc, kelp, alfalfa, and water. That should do the trick and be simple.

Wait so what exactly is the plan? What kind of climate do you live in? Southern hemisphere? Greenhouse?
