hey, dont know why, maybe cuz im new to the forum that my threads and posts cause no reaction, but would it be to much to ask a little information about taking care of hermies. Good Sensi is aparently what God himself will go for, but i want skunk seeds to grow and ripe on my watch in order to keep the skunks going on. I believe a hermie pretty much guarantees some skunk seed (provided my hermie is skunk), but i just dont want some seeds, i want as much as i can get and few seems to be informed or interested in sharing and helping me out. So im under the impresion that around here The title of this thread is the M.O. Currently on my first grow 4x39 daylight Osram Fluoros hung up in chains, some old school twist, jeje. 4 Indicas 6 Sativas .5 g/L of "triple 17 plus" (17-17-17 N-P-K and some micrconutes) .5 g/L of "nutriflor" (15-30-15 N-P-K) 35 days 12-12
You really dont want any hermies in your crop. DO NOT BREED YOUR HERMIES AT ALL. That is the worst thing you can do. Hermie seeds carry the hermie gene in them. The buds grow very small, sometimes good to smoke but if you keep the seeds from a hermie and then plant them then you are poisoning the gene pool. DO NOT PLANT SEEDS FROM HERMIES. THEY ARE OK TO SMOKE BUT NOT TO BREED. FOR THE SAKE OF ALL GROWERS DONT DO IT. Need anymore help let me know bro.Later
well you see, i dont see in my future geting a load of skunk seeds. My other skunks turned out male and the sativas are not ready to go. I will collect the skunk male pollen and knock up the best sativas i get in due time. How ever i was under the impresion that skunk autopolination will result in skunk seeds, which will translate in more skunks to grow. Still have one skunk that hasnt shown sex yet, maybe will be a girl and then male to girl skunk will do the trick and avoid the hermie gene... Im confused, to me some skunk females seeds coming out of a hermie dude are better than no skunk seeds, ruining the pool or not. I want to get skunk seeds no matter how without ordering from the web and in my town skunk is almost a concept, not a thing we usually smoke... Hopefully the people that get thier seeds from you know they are from a hermie. I kill every hermie i came across. You are doing the right thing by collecting pollen, thats the only way to do it. Not by hermies.
