Guess I could describe the set up a little since I won't have it finished for a week or so. Short on time the next two weeks. 8-( I have an 85watt = 250 watt replacement 5000k. 4x 42watt = 100watt replacement. 2 6500k 2 2700k. And one 26watt 2700k. 4 plant setup dwc with GH nutes. Mylar coming soon!
Man I run dwc w/ gh nutes. You planning on doing any training w/ these or just lettin em grow natural?
I may lst a bit. I had a grow that was bag seed just to see if my knowledge was good as it was my first grow. I'll post pics of it. Turned out male but I just wanted to try before getting quality seeds

Ok finally installed some Mylar but still haven't germinated the seeds. I'll start that in about 15 mins so hopefully in a few days we can get started.

Thank you for the comments. Yeah I love dwc seems pretty simple my first attempt was with a dwc and although it turned out to be a male plant I was happy with the way it grew. I actually just bought a 150 watt hps figuring i would hopefully get at least 1 female plant. So I will add the hps to the 2700k cfl's I have once I put them in flower mode. I may lst a little bit as I did in my first attempt. If you haven't seen those pics you should take a look. The plant looked like a menorah. I'm sure that's spelled wrong lol but you'll see what I mean if you look at the pics. I will post progress every day or 2 as you all know how fast dwc can make a plant grow. Thanks for tuning in!
I did a cfl/dwc for my first grow, and now i have a MH/HPS setup. i'll be the first to say: what a load off! the HPS is so much easier to maintain! none of that making sure it is right up next to the plant BS, and the plant on this grow are doing ten times better than the ones on my first. WAYYY fatter and taller this time around. i saw the pics of your first, and i bet that finding out that sucker was a male sure dropped your weed boner quick-like, as it was a beauty. and yes, you spelled menorah right
Yeah I'm excited about this grow and about having a hps light. Wish I woulda bought a switchable ballast so I could have one fixture and be able to switch from mh to hps but baby steps I guess. Ill see how this grow goes and decide from there whether or not to spend the money on another light fixture. Most likely I will. How was your harvest when you did your set up like mine?
three plants: about an ounce per plant, but i had about 400 combined watts from about 25 lights (a LOT of Y adapters). they were also in one 18 gallon tub, and i hear you get better plants/roots when you have them isolated in their own containers, which i have DEFINITELY witnessed since starting my new grow old grow: http://forum.grasscity.com/indoor-grow-journals/882766-first-grow-himalayan-kush-bubblicious.html or check out my current grow in my sig
I checked out your old grow. Nice job looked good. How was the final product. How long did you cure for?
